Alexander-Walker amassed eight points (3-5 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 22 minutes during Friday's 120-111 loss to the Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
Alexander-Walker moved into the starting lineup Friday, replacing Taurean Prince, who shifted back the bench. Despite the promotion, Alexander-Walker could not put up meaningful production, which has plagued him throughout his career. The Timberwolves will look to salvage some pride in Game 4, although it appears highly unlikely the series will extend beyond five games.
Alexander-Walker is in the starting five for Game 3 versus the Nuggets on Friday.

The Timberwolves acquired Alexander-Walker from the Jazz on Wednesday in a three-team trade that also involves the Lakers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Along with Alexander-Walker, the Timberwolves received Mike Conley and second-round picks in 2024, 2025 and 2026, while Utah takes back Russell Westbrook, Damian Jones, Juan Toscano-Anderson and a 2027 first-round draft pick. The Lakers, meanwhile, will add D'Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley. Alexander-Walker will provide some depth in the backcourt in Minnesota, but he may have a tough time earning reserve minutes behind Conley -- who replaces Russell as the Wolves' starting point guard -- and Anthony Edwards. The 24-year-old will primarily be competing with Jaylen Nowell, Austin Rivers and Jordan McLaughlin for playing time with the second unit.
