Murray, Moses Brown and Rayan Rupert were all elevated to the parent club following Rip City's 107-103 win over Ontario on Monday. They'll all be available for Portland's matchup in Phoenix on Tuesday, but it's unlikely they'll see extended playing time, barring a blowout.

Murray appeared for Rip City in its season opener Friday, totaling 18 points, six boards and two assists over 31 minutes. He'll now rejoin the parent club but isn't expected to play a major role after logging no more than nine minutes in any of his three appearances with Portland to date.

Murray recorded 19 points (7-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-4 FT) and seven rebounds in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 97-93 Summer League win over Charlotte.
Murray was Portland's first-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and had his best Summer League game to date Tuesday. While he did register three turnovers to zero assists, his scoring efficiency was impressive.

Murray was a standout junior for Iowa, improving tremendously from his first two seasons. He averaged 20.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals, earning himself a spot on the First Team All-Big 10. The twin brother of Keegan Murray of the Sacramento Kings, Kris could potentially have a lot of opportunities in Portland's forward rotation, as Nassir Little, Cam Reddish and Matisse Thybulle are all restricted free agents, while Jerami Grant is an unrestricted free agent.
