Kniazev was reassigned to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod of the KHL on Sunday. Kniazev has five assists and 18 PIM in 20 games with AHL Manitoba this season. The 22-year-old blueliner had five goals and 28 points in 61 contests for AHL San Jose during the 2022-23 campaign. Winnipeg acquired Kniazev from the Sharks in exchange for Leon Gawanke in July.... Jets' Artemi Kniazev: Acquired by Winnipeg
Winnipeg acquired Kniazev from San Jose on Sunday in exchange for defenseman Leon Gawanke. Kniazev notched five goals and 28 points in 61 games with AHL San Jose last season. The 22-year-old blueliner made his NHL debut Nov. 4, 2021 against St. Louis, logging 11:59 of ice time. Sharks' Artemi Kniazev: Reassigned to AHL
Kniazev was sent back to AHL San Jose on Friday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Seven Sharks regulars cleared the league's COVID-19 protocols, so Kniazev and several other depth reinforcements are headed back to the Barracuda. Sharks' Artemi Kniazev: Elevated to NHL
Kniazev was promoted from AHL San Jose on Monday, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Kniazev has seen action in just one game for the Sharks this season in which he tallied two shots, one hit and a minus-2 rating in 11:59 of ice time.
