The Orioles reassigned Suarez to minor-league camp Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
According to Kubatko, Suarez's locker had been empty at camp for the last few days, but the 31-year-old southpaw hasn't requested a release from his minor-league deal and is expected to stay in the organization and report to Triple-A Norfolk for the start of the minor-league season. Suarez made 13 big-league appearances for St. Louis in 2023, logging a 7.16 ERA and 1.73 WHIP across 27.2 innings.

Orioles' Andrew Suarez: Nets minors deal from O's
Suarez signed a minor-league contract with the Orioles on Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Suarez returned to the majors last season for the first time since 2020, but he ran into trouble often with a 7.16 ERA and 1.73 WHIP across 27.2 innings with the Cardinals. He fared better against Triple-A hitters, but he will need to show significant improvement before getting another shot in the big leagues. Cardinals manager Oli Marmol told reporters after Tuesday's game that Suarez has a chance to make the Opening Day roster after a strong showing in spring training, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Suarez threw 1.1 innings of scoreless baseball during Tuesday's Grapefruit League appearance, and he hasn't given up a run in his eight innings of work in Florida. Marmol notes that Suarez's velocity has ticked up in relief, and that he's getting hitters to make "defensive swings" on his fastball and breaking ball. The Cardinals will need to add Suarez to the 40-man roster in order to include him on the Opening Day roster, but it sounds like his work in the exhibition games has given St. Louis something to think about.

The left-hander has been given an invitation to major-league spring training as part of the deal. Suarez played in Korea in 2021 and Japan in 2022. Andrew Suarez: Officially heading abroad
Suarez's move to the LG Twins of the KBO was made official after his contract was sold Monday, Melissa Lockard of The Athletic reports.
The move had been initially reported back in mid-December but took some time to complete. Suarez fits the profile common to many players who head abroad, as he's received a few chances at the big-league level but hasn't carved out a regular role. His 4.66 ERA in 202.2 major-league innings will rank as one of the better resumes among former MLB pitchers in Korea, and he's still just 28 years old, so it's not out of the question that he could take a step forward in a consistent starting role and push for more opportunities stateside in the future.

Giants' Andrew Suarez: Move to KBO in process
Suarez is nearing a one-year deal with the LG Twins of the Korea Baseball Organization, Daniel Kim of MBC Sports+ reports.
The Twins would need to work out a buyout with the Giants since the left-hander remains under contract, but it appears he intends to continue his career in Korea. Suarez covered only 9.2 innings during 2020 and had a 5.79 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 25:14 K:BB over 32.2 frames in 2019.
