Porzingis logged 25 points (11-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes during Wednesday's 118-104 loss to Denver. Porzingis made his first six shots of the game, scoring 13 of the Wizards' first 16 points. He ran into foul trouble in the first half, however, limiting his minutes and taking a potential monster game off the table. The rest of the night ended up being disappointing for Porzingis, who saw his streak of five straight games of multiple blocked shots come to an end. He also posted his lowest rebound total since Dec. 12.... See More ... See Less

Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Hits for 30 in Tuesday's loss
Porzingis racked up 30 points (12-22 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 122-112 loss to the Magic. After sitting out Saturday's contest due to illness, Porzingis looked pretty healthy Tuesday as he led the Wizards in scoring. He also snapped out of a brief shooting funk that had seen him go just 1-for-14 from three-point range over his prior three games. Through 10 games in March, the 27-year-old big is averaging 23.7 points, 7.8 boards, 2.9 assists, 2.2 threes, 1.8 blocks and 1.1 steals while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor.... See More ... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Set to return Tuesday
Porzingis (illness) will play Tuesday against the Magic, Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington reports. Porzingis missed Saturday's game against the Kings due to an illness but will be back in action Tuesday following his brief absence. Over nine appearances this month, he's averaged 23.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 33.6 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Out Saturday
Porzingis (illness) is out Saturday against the Kings, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports. After initially being deemed questionable as a late addition to the injury report, Porzingis will ultimately be sidelined -- his first absence since Feb. 28. In Porzingis' place, Deni Avdija and Anthony Gill should see expanded roles.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Late addition to injury report
Porzingis has been added to the injury report questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings due to a non-COVID illness. Porzingis was a mid-day addition to the injury report with an illness, a downgrade that does not bode well for his availability Saturday. If he were to miss, Deni Avdija, Anthony Gill and Corey Kispert would be likely candidates for expanded roles. Fantasy managers should monitor Porzingis' status ahead of the 8:00 p.m. ET tipoff.... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Plays well despite loss
Porzingis posted 20 points (7-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals across 32 minutes during Friday's 117-94 loss to the Cavaliers. This was just another day in the office for Porzingis, but his strong play wasn't enough to prevent the Wizards from losing their fourth game out of their last five. Porzingis has been on fire for his fantasy managers at the ideal time, as he's been a top-15 player in nine-category leagues over his last nine games with 23.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.8 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers.... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: All-around showing in blowout win
Porzingis had 18 points (5-15 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 8-8 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, four blocks and three steals in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 117-97 victory over the Pistons. Porzingis did a little bit of everything for Washington in Tuesday's win, finishing second on the team in scoring and rebounds while posting a team-high marks in blocks and steals. The talented big man has recorded at least 15 points and five rebounds in nine of his last 10 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Struggles in near double-double
Porzingis chipped in nine points (4-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal in 25 minutes during Sunday's 112-93 loss to Philadelphia. Porzingis struggled shooting the ball in Sunday's loss and had one of his worst statistical games of the entire season. The big man has failed to reach the double-digit scoring mark only twice on the year, with the other occasion coming all the way back on Dec. 23, when he scored a season-low seven points.... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Puts up career-high 43 in loss
Porzingis ended Wednesday's 122-120 loss to Atlanta with 43 points (17-22 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds and five assists across 38 minutes. The 43 points represented a new season and career high for Porzingis, who was remarkably efficient from both the field and three-point range on the night. He's been excellent in his first five games of March after missing two games with a knee injury to close out February. Porzingis is averaging 27.6 points, 8.2 boards, 3.6 assists, 3.0 three-pointers, 1.2 blocks and 0.6 steals in 36.4 minutes while shooting 57.6 percent from the field and 85 percent from the free-throw line thus far this month.... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Hits for 24 in Tuesday's win
Porzingis fouled out of Tuesday's 119-117 win over the Pistons after recording 24 points (8-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 32 minutes. The veteran forward missed a couple games in late February due to a knee injury, but Porzingis has been a rock for the Wizards lately. He's scored more than 20 points in five straight contests and 10 of 13 since the beginning of last month, averaging 25.8 points, 8.1 boards, 3.0 assists, 2.6 threes and 1.4 blocks over that stretch while shooting 55.2 percent from the floor, 46.6 percent from beyond the arc and 91.9 percent from the free-throw line.... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Struggles from three
Porzingis racked up 24 points (11-29 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists and two blocks over 36 minutes during Sunday's 117-111 loss to Milwaukee. Porzingis needed 29 shot attempts to reach 24 points, as he shot just 37.9 percent from the field in the loss. However, he did manage to turn in his best rebounding night since Dec. 30 and secured a second straight double-double.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Returns with excellent night
Porzingis finished with 25 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during Thursday's 119-108 win over the Raptors. Porzingis was not slowed down by the knee injury that held him out of the last two games. Not only did he put up 25 points, but he did so on just 12 shots. Porzingis pitched in on the defensive end too with a pair of blocks and a steal. The only downside of the 27-year-old's night was four turnovers. But as long as he is healthy, Porzingis will be helping fantasy managers close the season strong.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Not on Thursday's injury report
Porzingis (knee) isn't on the injury report for Thursday's game against Toronto. Porzingis was initially considered questionable for Thursday's matchup, but he went through an on-court workout Wednesday and has been cleared to return following his two-game absence. He's posted double-doubles in two of his last five appearances and has averaged 23.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 33.0 minutes per game during that time.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Questionable Thursday
Porzingis (knee) is considered questionable for Thursday's game versus the Raptors, Hoop District reports. Porzingis will reportedly go through an on-court workout Wednesday, at which point the team may know more about the star forward's status. If he's forced to miss another contest, Daniel Gafford, Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert are all candidates to receive additional minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Won't play Tuesday
Porzingis (knee) is listed as out Tuesday's game versus the Hawks. Porzingis had been tagged as doubtful on the initial injury report the Wizards released for Tuesday's game, so his downgrade in status was fully expected. His absence for a second straight game should allow starting center Daniel Gafford to pick up a few extra minutes, while reserve forwards Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert could both be in store for expanded roles as well. Porzingis' next chance to play comes Thursday versus the Raptors.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Doubtful Tuesday
Porzingis (knee) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against Atlanta. Porzingis sat out Sunday against Chicago due to his sore left knee, and he'll likely be forced to miss a second consecutive matchup Tuesday. Assuming he's sidelined, Deni Avdija and Anthony Gill should continue to see increased run for the Wizards.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Won't play Sunday
Porzingis won't play Sunday versus the Bulls due to left knee soreness. Porzingis has appeared in 10 straight contests, including a back-to-back set, but he'll take a seat Sunday to manage a knee issue. In his absence, Deni Avdija and Anthony Gill figure to garner increased roles against Chicago. Porzingis' next chance to suit up will come Tuesday in Atlanta.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Efficient night from downtown
Porzingis supplied 23 points (5-10 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 8-8 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 35 minutes during Friday's 115-109 loss to the Knicks. After missing three games due to an ankle injury, Porzingis recorded four 30-point performances over nine contests heading into the All-Star festivities and stayed hot coming out of the break. All five of his converted field goals came from downtown, and he connected on all eight of his tries from the charity stripe. As long as he's healthy, the talented big man should remain a solid contributor for fantasy managers over the final stretch of the season.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Solid all-around output
Porzingis provided 14 points (4-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals in 32 minutes during Thursday's 114-106 win over the Timberwolves. Porzingis needed 12 shots to score 14 points in what was a rather dull scoring performance, but he still had a decent outing overall after he managed to contribute multiple in each of the five major categories. He took a step back in scoring as Bradley Beal took over with 17 fourth-quarter points, but Porzingis remains an essential player for the Wizards offensively and should remain a reliable fantasy asset. He's averaging 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 blocks per game through eight February appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Excels with double-double
Porzingis produced 28 points (10-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and one block over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 126-101 win over Portland. Despite playing fewer than 30 minutes in the blowout, Porzingis managed to secure his second double-double in three games while finishing two dimes shy of matching a season high. Since his return Jan. 30 following a three-game absence due to an ankle sprain, Porzingis has picked up right where he left off. He's averaging 27.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.6 treys and 1.6 blocks over his first eight games back in action.... See More ... See Less
