Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Still out Sunday
Porzingis (illness) will not play in Sunday's game against the Rockets, Ava Wallace of The Washington Post reports.
Porzingis' 2022-23 campaign is officially over after he was ruled out for the team's regular-season finale against Houston with an illness that has kept him sidelined since March 28. Porzingis put up 23.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.6 blocks over 32.6 minutes per game in 65 appearances for the Wizards this season. With Daniel Gafford (ankle) also sidelined Sunday, Jay Huff, Taj Gibson and Isaiah Todd should see more minutes.... See More ... See Less

Porzingis (illness) has been ruled out Wednesday against Atlanta.
Porzingis continues to deal with an illness that will keep him out for a fourth consecutive game. Anthony Gill and Xavier Cooks are candidates to see increased run once again.... See More ... See Less
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Listed out Tuesday
Porzingis (illness) will not play Tuesday against Milwaukee.
This will be the third straight absence for Porzingis, who was held out of both of Washington's games over the weekend due to an illness. With the Wizards eliminated from playoff contention, it's possible the team plays it safe and holds Porzingis out of multiple games this week. Keep an eye on the big man's status for Wednesday's game at Atlanta.... See More ... See Less
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Downgraded to out
Porzingis (illness) will not suit up for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Porzingis will miss a second consecutive game due to a non-COVID illness after initially being handed a questionable tag. With Kyle Kuzma (ankle) and Bradley Beal (knee) also out, there should be ample opportunities for the likes of Deni Avdija, Taj Gibson and Anthony Gill. Porzingis will have a couple of days to rest up before the Wizards take on the Bucks on Tuesday.... See More ... See Less
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Questionable Sunday
Porzingis (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Knicks, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Porzingis is coming off a one-game absence due to an illness. He was a partial participant at Saturday's practice, so he is seemingly trending in the right direction. Still, his final status will depend on how he feels closer to tip-off. Some combination of Deni Avdija, Taj Gibson and Anthony Gill would presumably be in line for extra minutes if he is ultimately ruled out again.... See More ... See Less

Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Lands on injury report with illness
Porzingis is questionable for Friday's game against the Magic due to a non-COVID illness, Ava Wallace of The Washington Post reports.
Porzingis was a late addition to the injury report, which is never a good sign. If he joins Bradley Beal (knee) and Kyle Kuzma (ankle) on the sidelines, Deni Avdija, Corey Kispert, Monte Morris and Johnny Davis would be the most likely candidates for increased usage.... See More ... See Less
Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Big double-double against Boston
Porzingis ended Tuesday's 130-111 victory over the Celtics with 32 points (14-21 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes.
It's Porzingis' first double-double since March 5 and his 20th of the season -- just the third time in his career he's reached that mark. The 27-year-old has scored at least 20 points in six straight games, averaging 26.0 points, 7.7 boards, 3.5 assists, 2.3 threes, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals over that stretch while shooting 57.7 percent from the floor, 46.7 percent from beyond the arc and 95.7 percent from the free-throw line as the Wizards try to claw their way back into the playoff picture.... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Carries shorthanded Wizards in loss
Porzingis totaled 26 points (9-17 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals across 34 minutes during Sunday's 114-104 loss to the Raptors.
Porzingis was Washington's go-to player on offense due to the absences of Kyle Kuzma (ankle) and Bradley Beal (knee), and the Latvian big man responded by putting up his fifth straight game with at least 20 points. Injuries have plagued Porzingis throughout this career, but he has missed just one game in March while averaging 23.9 points and 7.4 rebounds across 32.6 minutes per contest in that span (13 games).... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Posts great line in limited action
Porzingis finished with 23 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and four blocks in 28 minutes during Friday's 136-124 victory over the Spurs.
Despite no extensive garbage time and Porzingis committing zero fouls, the big man was still limited to 28 minutes. However, he came through with an excellent line. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on the Wizards and Porzingis down the stretch. They could easily fall out of the Play-In race entirely, and Porzingis got pulled early during Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets after a few quick fouls and saw just 22 minutes. Bradley Beal is dealing with a knee sprain and is day-to-day, so the team's fate is trending in the wrong direction. It's encouraging Porzingis has been so aggressive in limited minutes, though.... Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Foul trouble slows output
Porzingis logged 25 points (11-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes during Wednesday's 118-104 loss to Denver.
Porzingis made his first six shots of the game, scoring 13 of the Wizards' first 16 points. He ran into foul trouble in the first half, however, limiting his minutes and taking a potential monster game off the table. The rest of the night ended up being disappointing for Porzingis, who saw his streak of five straight games of multiple blocked shots come to an end. He also posted his lowest rebound total since Dec. 12.... See More ... See Less

After sitting out Saturday's contest due to illness, Porzingis looked pretty healthy Tuesday as he led the Wizards in scoring. He also snapped out of a brief shooting funk that had seen him go just 1-for-14 from three-point range over his prior three games. Through 10 games in March, the 27-year-old big is averaging 23.7 points, 7.8 boards, 2.9 assists, 2.2 threes, 1.8 blocks and 1.1 steals while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor.... See More ... Porzingis was a mid-day addition to the injury report with an illness, a downgrade that does not bode well for his availability Saturday. Wizards' Kristaps Porzingis: Plays well despite loss
Porzingis posted 20 points (7-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals across 32 minutes during Friday's 117-94 loss to the Cavaliers.
This was just another day in the office for Porzingis, but his strong play wasn't enough to prevent the Wizards from losing their fourth game out of their last five. Porzingis has been on fire for his fantasy managers at the ideal time, as he's been a top-15 player in nine-category leagues over his last nine games with 23.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals, 1.8 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers.... Porzingis struggled shooting the ball in Sunday's loss and had one of his worst statistical games of the entire season. The big man has failed to reach the double-digit scoring mark only twice on the year, with the other occasion coming all the way back on Dec. 23, when he scored a season-low seven points....
