Celtics' Sam Hauser: Returns to bench for Game 1
Hauser won't start in Saturday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the Hawks, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Hauser closed out the regular season with three consecutive starts but will slide back to the second unit with the Celtics at full health for their playoff opener. The second-year wing should play a 3-and-D role off the bench for Boston but likely won't garner enough minutes to enter the fantasy conversation.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Strong from deep in balanced game
Hauser supplied 26 points (9-16 FG, 8-14 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal across 38 minutes during Sunday's 120-114 win over the Hawks.
Hauser finished as one of three players with 25 or more points as a starter in Sunday's victory, ending the game with eight threes, which was good for second-most on the team. Hauser has posted 25 or more points with at least five rebounds in two straight outings, but his role will likely decrease during the playoffs, assuming the team gets several of its key contributors back.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Scores career-high 26 in win
Hauser supplied 26 points (10-16 FG, 6-12 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Friday's 121-102 victory over the Raptors.
Hauser, who got the start for an injured Jaylen Brown (finger), dropped a career-high 26 points, including six made shots from deep. He did grab five boards but added little else in the win. With Brown expected to sit again in Boston's final regular-season contest, Hauser is likely to see big minutes for at least one more game.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Starting Wednesday
Hauser is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
Jayson Tatum (hip), Al Horford (back) and Marcus Smart (neck) will be hitting the sidelines for Wednesday's game, so the Celtics will roll out a starting unit featuring Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Hauser, Mike Muscala and Robert Williams. Through five starts this season, Hauser has compiled averages of 13.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 4.0 triples and just 0.4 turnovers per contest on 47.1 percent shooting.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Moves back to bench
Hauser isn't in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus Washington.
Jayson Tatum (hip) will return and replace Hauser in the starting lineup Tuesday. Hauser is averaging 5.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 16.3 minutes across his last 10 games coming off the bench.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Will start Sunday sans Tatum
Hauser will start Sunday's game against the Spurs, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Tatum won't play due to a hip injury, so Hauser will draw his first start since Feb. 14 and his fifth of the season. As a starter, the second-year sharpshooter out of Virginia has averaged 15.5 points per game while shooting 48.9 percent from the field and 48.6 percent from deep.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Nails three triples
Hauser supplied nine points (3-5 FG, 3-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 24 minutes during Friday's 120-95 victory over Indiana.
Hauser saw a sizeable uptick in playing time after logging only three minutes Wednesday against the Kings. He made the most of his chances by drilling three of his four chances from beyond the arc. Hauser has shown that he's a threat from downtown, but his playing time is too inconsistent for many fantasy managers to consider rostering him down the stretch.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Lands four triples in win
Hauser logged 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-5 3Pt) and two rebounds over 21 minutes during Saturday's 134-125 win over the Hawks.
Hauser did his thing Saturday, going 4-of-5 from the perimeter en route to 12 points. As usual, he did very little else, relying solely on his three-point shooting to buoy his value. Interestingly, Hauser was ahead of Grant Williams in the rotation, something that warrants some attention moving forward. If this is something that sticks, Hauser could be worth a look in deeper formats.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Plays 18 minutes off bench
Hauser accumulated six points (2-3 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 18 minutes during Friday's 115-105 loss to the Nets.
Hauser's minutes have tanked recently, and this was his largest workload since he played 22 minutes Feb. 15 against the Pistons. With Robert Williams tweaking his left hamstring, the Celtics could go with some smaller lineups if Williams misses time and that could potentially benefit Hauser.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Slides back to bench
Hauser will not start Wednesday's game against the Pistons.
Hauser started four of Boston's last five games with Jaylen Brown (face) sidelined, but he will rejoin the reserves with Marcus Smart (ankle) back in action even though Brown will remain out. Over his last five games, Hauser has averaged 15.2 points and 5.2 rebounds while shooting 53.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Sends game into overtime
Hauser logged 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 131-125 overtime loss to the Bucks.
The Wisconsin native kept Boston's hopes alive against Milwaukee on Tuesday by hitting a last-second three to tie the game and send it into overtime. Hauser was in the starting lineup for the fourth time over Boston's past five matchup and has scored in double figures in each of those contests. During that stretch, he's averaging 15.2 points and 5.2 rebounds while shooting 53.7 percent from three. His role will surely diminish when Boston returns to full strength, but Hauser has proven, on multiple occasions this year, that he can provide a major spark when given even a small opportunity off the bench.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Ties career high with six threes
Hauser contributed 20 points (7-12 FG, 6-11 3Pt) and one steal in 31 minutes during Sunday's 119-109 victory over the Grizzlies.
The six made threes tied Hauser's career high, while the 20 points was his best performance since he dropped 24 on the Pistons on Nov. 9. The second-year forward has scored in double digits in four straight games, starting three of them, and he should continue to have value leading up to the All-Star break as the Boston roster deals with multiple injuries.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Starting Friday
Hauser is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Hornets, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Hauser is starting in place of Jaylen Brown (face), who is expected to be sidelined at least a week, so he could be in line for more production. Hauser recorded 15 points, 6.0 rebounds and one assist across 31.3 minutes in his only other start this season.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Returns to second unit
Hauser will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against Philadelphia, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.
Hauser saw the spot start Monday with Jaylen Brown absent from the contest due to illness, but he will return to the bench with Brown active. Despite the demotion, Hauser could still be in line for a larger role Wednesday with Al Horford (knee) and Robert Williams (ankle) sidelined.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Drains five threes in spot start
Hauser ended Monday's 111-99 victory over the Pistons with 15 points (5-10 FG, 5-9 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one block across 31 minutes.
With Jaylen Brown (illness) unavailable, Hauser made his first career start and was the surprise scoring star of the first half, putting up all 15 of his points in the first two quarters. The five made threes were his highest total since Nov. 16, and while his role off the bench tends to be erratic at best, the second-year forward continues to shoot well when called upon.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Making first start of season
Hauser will start Monday's contest against the Pistons.
With Jaylen Brown (illness) and Marcus Smart (ankle) both out Monday, Hauser will slide into Boston's starting lineup for the first time this year. The 25-year-old is averaging 5.5 points and 2.4 rebounds across 14.3 minutes per game over his first 51 appearances of the season.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Efficient off bench in loss
Hauser finished Monday's 113-98 loss to the Magic with 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 19 minutes off the bench.
It's the first time Hauser has scored in double digits since Dec. 21 against the Pacers, and the first time he's drained more than two three-pointers in a game since Nov. 28 against the Hornets. The second-year forward isn't providing any kind of consistent production from the Celtics' second unit, and it would take injuries ahead of him on the depth chart to put him on the fantasy radar.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Ends cold shooting spell
Hauser provided 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, one block and two steals across 18 minutes during Wednesday's 117-112 loss to Indiana.
Hauser tallied double-digit points for the first time since Nov. 28. The second-year forward was averaging 3.5 points and 2.3 points on 31.0 percent shooting from the field and 24.3 percent from three in 13.3 minutes across his last 10 games. Hauser holds some fantasy relevance for deeper leagues, as he is converting on 42.2 of his 4.2 three-point attempts per game on the season.
