Hardy has been impressive in two straight games, producing 20- and 27-point outings off the bench. He's found a good chunk of his scoring success from beyond the arc and has now drilled at least three triples in five of his last six appearances while averaging 20.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists over that stretch. It's worth noting, however, that the Mavericks have been without at least one of Luka Doncic or Kyrie Irving for both of those contests, and the rookie will likely see his role on the offensive end get scaled back considerably when both stars are available at the same time.

Hardy has reached the 20-point plateau in each of those three starts and should remain a strong play across all formats as long as he remains a starter. At the same time, his upside will be closely tied to the returns of Irving and Doncic. Hardy's value might take a hit sooner than later with both players listed as game-time decisions for Friday's matchup against the Lakers.

Hardy hadn't appeared in any of the Mavericks' previous five games, but he got an opportunity Wednesday after Luka Doncic exited early due to a thigh injury. He didn't waste his chance, and the rookie second-round pick may have positioned himself if Doncic -- who will undergo an MRI on Thursday -- misses additional time. Even if that's the case, Hardy shouldn't be counted on for regular production, tallying eight or fewer points and minimal supporting stats in five of his last six appearances.
