Nets' Jalen Wilson: Posts double-double in OT loss
Wilson put up 22 points (4-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 12-14 FT), 11 rebounds and four assists across 37 minutes in Sunday's 102-99 Summer League loss to the Cavaliers. Despite struggling from the field, Wilson tied for a team high in points, making a living at the free-throw line. Nets' Jalen Wilson: Solid production in win
Wilson totaled 18 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 3PT, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals over 27 minutes in Sunday's 98-80 Summer League win over the Knicks. Wilson was not known for his outside shooting in college, but he was able to make three of four attempts Sunday and finished with an efficient 18 points. The Kansas product also led the team in rebounding and showed his versatility, adding two steals and a couple of dimes. Wilson will likely bounce between the Nets' main roster and G-League affiliate throughout his rookie campaign, but he could find his way into the rotation if he continues to produce at such a high level this summer.... Nets' Jalen Wilson: Signs two-way deal
Wilson signed a two-way contract with the Nets on Wednesday. Wilson was selected by the Nets with the 51st overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, and he'll officially join the team on a deal that will allow him to shift between the G League and NBA clubs easily. The 22-year-old averaged 20.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 35.3 minutes per game during his senior season at Kansas.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' Jalen Wilson: Drafted 51st by Brooklyn
Wilson was selected 51st by the Brooklyn Nets in the 2023 NBA Draft. The reigning Big 12 Player of the Year, Wilson made a massive leap during his senior season at Kansas. He compiled averages of 20.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.9 triples on 43 percent shooting. The Nets are at the beginning stages of a rebuild and guys like Dorian Finney-Smith and Royce O'Neale are rumored to be on the trade block, so there is a path to minutes for Wilson during his rookie season.... NetsDaily@NetsDaily5H agoInteresting factoid. Attendance last night, despite in-season tournament hype, was 15,844 or 89.4% of capacity. Nets have been running at roughly 17,500 or 99%. Why I wonder.
