  • Hornets' JT Thor: Unproductive in 19 minutes

Thor provided five points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and three rebounds in 19 minutes during Sunday's 114-108 loss to the Cavaliers. Thor failed to put up anything close to fantasy-relevant production Sunday, despite logging 19 minutes. Although he has been a consistent part of the rotation for most of the season, his playing time is typically reliant on the production of others. Given he is well outside the top 400 for the season, he should not be on anyone's fantasy radar.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Starting against Miami

Thor is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Heat. Thor will get the nod at power forward over P.J. Washington, who has been ruled out due to a right foot strain. This will be Thor's first start of the campaign, and he's cleared the 20-minute threshold just once during this season.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Used sparingly again Tuesday

Thor recorded two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound over 10 minutes during Tuesday's 124-115 loss to the Bucks. While he has been able to carve out a regular spot in the rotation, Thor remains on the outside looking in when it comes to meaningful minutes. He has played more than 15 minutes only twice in the past three weeks, failing to score more than five points in any of those games. The Hornets are running a tight rotation at the moment, so while he figures to be out there in some capacity, he is not someone to consider, even in deeper formats.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Fails to score in 11 minutes

Thor recorded zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 11 minutes during Monday's 130-118 loss to Boston. Thor remains on the fringe of the rotation, playing fewer than 15 minutes for the fifth straight game. In that time, he has scored a combined 15 points, adding a solitary steal and zero blocks. It feels as though he might struggle to have a meaningful NBA career.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Returns to Charlotte

The Hornets recalled Thor back to the Hornets on Wednesday. Thor will end his third G League assignment with the Greensboro Swarm. Thor is averaging 2.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10.4 minutes across 14 games for the Hornets this season.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Back to G League

Charlotte assigned Thor to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Sunday. Thor didn't appear in Saturday's matchup against the Bucks and will head back to the G League after just one day with the NBA squad. He figures to get extended run during his stint with the Swarm.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Rejoins Hornets

The Hornets recalled Thor from the G League on Saturday. Thor should provide some depth in the frontcourt for Charlotte and could see brief run in a banged-up Hornets rotation. Even if he does, it's unlikely to be enough for him to warrant fantasy consideration.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Sent back to G League

Thor was assigned to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Friday. Thor has bounced back and forth between the two rosters and will be available for the Swarm's upcoming game Friday night. As a fringe rotation piece for the Hornets, he has averaged 2.5 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10.4 minutes per game this season.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Recalled from Greensboro

Thor was recalled from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Wednesday. Thor was sent to the G League on Sunday, and he averaged 26.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in 34.2 minutes per game over two appearances with the Swarm. He'll rejoin the parent club but should see significantly less run for the Hornets.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Debuts with 30-point performance

Thor tallied 30 points (12-24 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine assists, two steals and one block in 31 minutes during Monday's 130-87 win over Westchester. Thor made his debut for Greensboro against Westchester, leading the team in scoring while finishing third in rebounds and minutes played. Thor appeared in 10 games for the Swarm last year, averaging 12.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Assigned to G League

Thor was assigned to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Sunday. Thor hasn't seen time in an NBA game since logging three minutes in a loss against the Pacers on Nov. 16, and even when he's been available, he's failed to make an impact. He should see more playing time with Greensboro.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Thrives in garbage time Friday

Thor ended Friday's 130-99 loss to the Grizzlies with 11 points (4-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 26 minutes. Thor, along with a number of his teammates, made the most of garbage time, putting up season-high numbers across the board. While this was a nice performance, history would tell us that it is unlikely to stick. The Hornets were simply blown off the court, so chances are he goes back to being a fringe rotation player in the next game.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Minimal production in OT loss

Thor totaled two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one block over nine minutes during Wednesday's 134-131 overtime loss to the Knicks. Thor has had a limited role for the Hornets off the bench early in the season and failed to generate much production during Wednesday's overtime defeat. He's averaged 2.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per game over three appearances this season.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Scores nine off bench

Thor logged nine points (4-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, two blocks and a steal in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 99-94 preseason loss to the 76ers. Thor came off the bench once again during Wednesday's preseason finale, but he had a team-high 28 minutes in the narrow loss. The 20-year-old saw limited playing time for the Hornets as a rookie last year and will likely face an uphill battle for minutes if he begins the 2022-23 campaign with Charlotte.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Mixed results as rookie

Thor averaged 12.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in 27.5 minutes across seven appearances with the Greensboro Swarm during the 2021-22 season. The 19-year-old scored in double figures four times during his rookie campaign, including a season-high 19 in his first G League appearance. Thor registered two double-doubles on the season and recorded multiple blocks and steals in the same game just once.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Back to NBA

Thor was transferred from the G League's Greensboro Swarm to the Hornets on Monday. The Swarm's season is now over after not making the G League playoffs, so Thor -- along with James Bouknight, Kai Jones, Arnoldas Kulboka and Scottie Lewis -- will join the NBA squad for the final week of the regular season. The 19-year-old Thor is averaging 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 8.5 minutes across 29 appearances with the Hornets during his rookie campaign.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Modest production in loss

Thor managed 11 points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, two blocks and one assist in 23 minutes during Thursday's 122-117 loss to the Maine Celtics. Thor registered his fourth double-digit scoring outing with the Swarm and tied his season high with two blocks. Across six appearances with Greensboro, the 19-year-old is averaging 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 27.8 minutes per game.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Assigned to G League

Thor was assigned to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday. Thor appeared in just two of the Hornets' last six contests and totaled only six minutes during those games. He figures to get extended playing time during his stint in the G League, where he's registered two double-doubles across four appearances.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Double-doubles in loss

Thor tallied 15 points (6-20 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 33 minutes during Friday's 117-104 loss to the Cleveland Charge. Thor made his fourth appearance at the G League level and registered his second double-double. The 19-year-old was recalled to the NBA squad shortly after the conclusion of Friday's contest.

  • Hornets' JT Thor: Recalled from G League
