Eagles linebacker Kiko Alonso (knee) didn't take part in practice Wednesday.

Alonso's ACL sprain didn't allow for a practice appearance Wednesday, but head coach Chip Kelly relayed Wednesday that the linebacker will be monitored throughout the week to determine when he may be able to return.

Initially, Alonso was given a recovery timetable of 2-4 weeks, meaning a return to practice Thursday or Friday could open the door for active status Sunday against the Jets in New York.
