Noteboom left Monday's loss to the Bengals early with a knee injury but appears to have overcome it. The Rams will be glad to have the 2018 third-round pick back so they don't have to worry about being without a left tackle for the second straight week, as backup tackle Alaric Jackson was also injured last week.

Noteboom (knee) was forced out of Monday's loss to the Bengals early due to a knee injury, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The severity of Noteboom's injury is currently unknown. His backup, Alaric Jackson (thigh), also left the game early, which left the team's offensive line thin on depth. More clarity on Noteboom's status for Week 4 will come when the team releases its initial injury report Wednesday.

Noteboom (undisclosed) will not practice the remainder of the week, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.
Noteboom is, "dealing with a little something right now," according to head coach Sean McVay. The 28-year-old was able to participate in individual drills Wednesday, but McVay added that he, "didn't have any more information than that right now." Noteboom was competing for the starting left tackle job in camp, although these setbacks may derail his progress in nailing down a starting job. He'll now have to turn his focus to getting healthy.

Rams' Joe Noteboom: Competing for starting left tackle
Noteboom (Achilles) has been competing for the starting left tackle position throughout Rams camp, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Noteboom missed the entirety of the 2022 season with an Achilles injury but has since had the offseason to get past the issue. The veteran lineman signed a $40 million contract extension in 2022 that he's reworked to allow the Rams to save $9 million in cap space this year. He'll be competing with Alaric Jackson, who filled in for Noteboom the first half of last year before getting hurt himself. The Rams have been splitting reps evenly so far, but they'll soon have to decide between the guy they paid and the younger player ahead of the coming season.

Rams' Joe Noteboom: Slowly recovering
Noteboom (Achilles) has been limited throughout Los Angeles' OTAs, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Head coach Sean McVay told reporters how "awesome" it will be to have the 2022 starting left tackle back fully participating once again, but still didn't give a timetable for his return. Noteboom has played five years for the Rams and appeared in 53 games over that time period. Barring any setbacks, expect the veteran to compete for a starting spot on LA's offensive line once he's healthy.
