49ers' Dre Greenlaw: Good to go for playoffs
Greenlaw (back) doesn't carry a designation for Saturday's wild-card game against the Seahawks.
Greenlaw was sidelined for the 49ers' regular-season finale against Arizona due to a back injury sustained Week 17. However, he was able to return to practice in full Thursday after logging back-to-back limited practices earlier in the week, and San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan said the linebacker will be a "full go" for Saturday's wild-card game against Seattle, according to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle. Greenlaw has amassed a career-high 127 tackles, six passes defended, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries this season, and he'll continue to form one of the league's best linebacker duos alongside Fred Warner heading into the playoffs.

49ers' Dre Greenlaw: Practicing in limited fashion
Greenlaw (back) logged limited practice sessions Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of San Francisco's wild-card game against Seattle on Saturday.
Greenlaw hurt his back against the Raiders in Week 17 and missed San Francisco's regular-season finale versus Arizona after logging three DNPs during the week. However, his ability to practice -- albeit in limited fashion -- both Tuesday and Wednesday suggests that he has a chance to participate in Saturday's wild-card contest versus the Seahawks. That would be a big boost to the 49ers' defense, as Greenlaw ranked second on the team with 127 tackles while adding an interception and two forced fumbles during 15 regular-season games.

49ers' Dre Greenlaw: Expected to practice this week
Greenlaw (back) is expected to return to practice before Saturday's wild-card round game against the Seahawks, Josh Dubow of The Associated Press reports.
Greenlaw was unable to practice in any capacity before sitting out the regular-season finale, but a return to practice could pave the way for the productive linebacker to suit up in San Francisco's playoff opener. Greenlaw had 127 tackles (82 solo) over 15 appearances in the regular season.

Greenlaw (back) has been ruled out of the 49ers' regular-season finale against the Cardinals, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
No surprise here, as Greenlaw was unable to practice during the week after injuring his back in Week 17. The 49ers will err on the side of caution ahead of wild-card weekend. In his absence, Oren Burks is the likely candidate to replace him at weakside linebacker.
