Rhattigan was battling an elbow injury leading up to this game, but it's still notable that undrafted rookie Patrick O'Connell started ahead of him and posted seven tackles in the process, per Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Through two years in the league, Rhattigan has only played on special teams, so his roster spot isn't a lock heading into 2023.

Rhattigan has yet to play this season while rehabbing from a torn ACL he suffered last December. With the move, Seattle opens a 21-day window for the special-teamer to be added to the active roster, but if he isn't, he'll revert to IR for the remainder of the campaign.

Seattle moved Rhattigan (ACL) from the active/PUP list to the reserve/PUP list Wednesday, John Boyle of Seahawks.com reports.
The move means Rhattigan will have to miss at least the first four weeks of the regular season according to NFL rules. The sophomore linebacker out of Army tore his ACL last December, which is apparently still holding him out of action with the 2022 campaign approaching.
