  • Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Lacks timeline for return

Head coach Steve Kerr said prior to Saturday's game against the Bucks that Wiggins (personal) remains without a timeline for a return, though the Warriors have "hope" he'll return before the end of the season, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. At the same time, Kerr acknowledged that Wiggins' return is no sure thing, so managers that have been holding the forward during his prolonged absence amid the fantasy playoffs might be better off cutting him loose in favor of an available option at this point. Jonathan Kuminga and Patrick Baldwin have started in place of Wiggins over the Warriors' past two games, but Kerr may be content to take a matchups-based approach while leaning on a committee of players to fill Wiggins' minutes moving forward. For the time being, the Warriors seem content to evaluate Wiggins' status on a game-by-game basis, but given that he's been away from the team since shortly before the All-Star break and will likely require time to regain conditioning, the 28-year-old is looking unlikely to be available for any of Golden State's four games during the upcoming week.

When asked if Wiggins returning this season was a sure thing, coach Steve Kerr said that's the "hope" and that what he's dealing with is way more important than basketball. With Jonathan Kuminga sidelined with an ankle injury, this will be a chance for guys like JaMychal Green, Andre Iguodala and Patrick Baldwin to step up.

  • Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Without timetable

Wiggins (personal), who is listed as out for Thursday's game against the Lakers, remains without a timeline to return to the Warriors while he tends to a family matter, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Wiggins missed the Warriors' final game before the All-Star break Feb. 14 against the Clippers due to the family matter, and head coach Steve Kerr didn't offer many details Thursday about when the forward might be ready to rejoin the team. With the Warriors opening their second-half schedule with a back-to-back set, Wiggins appears safe to rule out for Friday's game against the Rockets in addition to Thursday's contest. Donte DiVincenzo entered the starting five in place of Wiggins on Feb. 14 and should continue to play on the top unit while Wiggins remains away.

  • Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Out Tuesday for personal reasons

Wiggins has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Clippers due to personal reasons, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports. The timing of Wiggins' absence is unfortunate, as he's coming off one of his best games of the season and has scored in double figures in four straight contests. In his stead, Donte DiVincenzo, Moses Moody, Jonathan Kuminga and JaMychal Green (wrist) are all candidates for increased roles. Wiggins' next chance to suit up will come after the All-Star break on Feb. 23 against the Lakers.

  • Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Explodes for 29 points in win

Wiggins posted 29 points (12-22 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 39 minutes during Monday's 135-126 victory over the Wizards. Wiggins was aggressive early and often en route to his highest-scoring output since recording a season-high 36 points against the Rockets on Dec. 3. He suffered a groin injury during the 120-101 win over Houston that sidelined him for a month, and he's been struggling since then, posting just 13.1 points on 39.9 percent shooting over 14 appearances until Monday's offensive explosion. Wiggins appears to be trending in the right direction and is averaging 19.3 points on 50 percent shooting over his last four appearances. He's also putting up 6.3 boards, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals during that stretch, which are all above his season averages. As long as Stephen Curry (leg) remains sidelined, the Warriors will need more of these types of performances from Wiggins to stay relevant in the congested Western Conference standings.

  • Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Good to go

Wiggins (ankle) will be available Monday against the Wizards. Wiggins has been playing heavy minutes but will power through the questionable tag Monday night. Keep in mind that this is the front end of a back-to-back set, so Wiggins may end up resting Tuesday against the Clippers.

  • Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Listed questionable Monday

Wiggins is questionable for Monday's game against Washington due to a sprained right ankle. Wiggins apparently picked up the injury during Saturday's loss to the Lakers, which he finished with 12 points, five rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes. The Warriors are entering a back-to-back set, so it wouldn't be surprising if the team opts to hold him out Monday on a precautionary basis.

  • Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: All-around effort Monday

Wiggins accumulated 18 points (8-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Monday's 141-114 victory over the Thunder. Wiggins hasn't been the same player since returning from a lengthy absence due to a groin injury, averaging just 12.8 points and 4.3 rebounds over 30.2 minutes per game after posting 19.1 points and 5.1 boards over 32.7 minutes per game in the 22 appearances prior to the injury. He at least showed a glimpse of what he can do in Monday's affair, and the hope is that he can round back into form moving forward.

  • Warriors' Andrew Wiggins: Nice two-way effort in return

Wiggins (illness) provided 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal across 32 minutes during Monday's 128-120 victory over the Thunder. Wiggins returned to the starting five Monday after a two-game absence due to a non-COVID-19-related illness, taking on his normal minutes in a competitive contest. Though Wiggins' recurring absences this season have undoubtedly been frustrating for fantasy managers, the fact that he didn't face any major restrictions with his playing time in his return to the lineup bodes well for his outlook moving forward. However, now that all of the Warriors' key contributors are healthy again, Wiggins doesn't have much upside to improve upon his current season-long averages of 17.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 three-pointers, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks per game.
