Strawther (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game versus Minnesota. Strawther has been upgraded from probable to available Wednesday despite dealing with a sprained right ankle. Strawther could continue to provide depth in Denver's forward rotation.... See More ... See Less

Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Expected to suit up Wednesday
Strawther (ankle) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves. Strawther continues to deal with a minor right ankle sprain but shouldn't miss any time. He's appeared in seven of Denver's last eight games, averaging 6.7 minutes during that stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Returns to lineup Monday
Strawther provided 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes during Monday's 128-103 win over the Grizzlies. Strawther tallied 14 points in the victory, more than he had scored across the past three months combined. It's fair to say this performance should be viewed as an outlier given he has not even been in the rotation of late.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Back to NBA
Denver recalled Strawther from the G League's Grand Rapids Gold on Wednesday. Strawther and Jalen Pickett were both recalled ahead of Wednesday's matchup versus the Kings, but with Denver's rotation at full strength, neither is expected to see extensive playing time. Strawther has played more than seven minutes just once since Jan. 1.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Probable for Thursday
Strawther (ankle) is probable for Thursday's game against Washington. Strawther missed the Nuggets' final game before the All-Star break due to an ankle injury, but he'll likely be back in action for Thursday's matchup. Over 35 appearances for Denver this year, he's averaged 5.8 points in 13.9 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Dealing with ankle sprain
Strawther is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Kings due to a left ankle sprain. After not appearing in 16 straight NBA games, Strawther has gotten action in back-to-back matchups, though both games were blowout losses. Jamal Murray (lower leg) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (hamstring) are both questionable but not expected to play, so if Strawther is also unavailable, Denver's backcourt would be shorthanded.... Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Active for Friday
Strawther (knee) will be available for Friday's game against Portland, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports. Strawther has been sidelined for multiple weeks, and despite his availability, he's unlikely to see the floor Friday. A stint in the G League could be on the table.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Questionable for Friday
Strawther (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers. Strawther has been unavailable since early January due to a right knee contusion and sprain, but it's encouraging that he's considered questionable for Friday's matchup rather than being immediately ruled out. Even if he's able to suit up against Portland, it wouldn't be surprising to see him face a significant minutes restriction.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Still out
Strawther (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder. Strawther hasn't played since Jan. 4 due to a right knee contusion and sprain. He doesn't have a return timetable, so until he resumes practicing, he can be considered doubtful for future contests.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Still out
Strawther (knee) won't play in Saturday's game versus the 76ers. Strawther's absence streak will extend to 11 games Saturday while dealing with a right knee contusion. The rookie forward has no timetable for a return.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: To remain sidelined Thursday
Strawther (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Knicks. Strawther hasn't played since Jan. 5 and will be forced to miss a 10th consecutive game due to a right knee contusion. His next chance to play will be Saturday against the 76ers.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Won't play Tuesday
Strawther (knee) is out Tuesday against the Pacers. Strawther has been out since Jan. 5 due to a right knee contusion, with his next chance to take the court coming Thursday against the Knicks. Peyton Watson has been leaned on for 15.9 minutes per game over that span.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Still out
Strawther (knee) won't play in Friday's game versus the Cetics. Strawther's absence streak will extend to seven games Friday while dealing with a right knee contusion. There is no timetable for the rookie forward's return.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Absence to continue Tuesday
Strawther (knee) will not play Tuesday against Philadelphia. Strawther will miss his sixth consecutive game due to a right knee contusion and sprain. His next opportunity to take the court comes Friday against Boston, but there have been no updates on Strawther ramping up activity.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Iffy against Orlando
Strawther is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Magic due to a right knee contusion. Strawther assumedly injured his knee during Wednesday's matchup with Golden State. If the rookie forward is ultimately ruled out, Peyton Watson, Christian Braun and Justin Holiday are candidates to receive increased minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Minimal role in victory
Strawther registered zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal in nine minutes during Thursday's 130-127 win over Golden State. Stawther has scored just two points across his last two outings. The rookie forward has seen an inconsistent role for Denver this season, averaging 5.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 13.9 minutes across 33 appearances. Unless significant injuries occur ahead of him in the depth chart, Strawther is likely best to be left on the waiver wire.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Another strong performance
Strawther logged 16 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal across 23 minutes during Tuesday's 114-106 win over the Bulls. With Jamal Murray (ankle) out, Nikola Jokic getting ejected and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope leaving early with a head contusion, Strawther stepped up in Denver's win over Chicago. The rookie wing has been a fringe rotation player for much of the season, but he's come up big over his last two games, averaging 19.0 points, 4.0 three-pointers, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 2.5 assists in 25.5 minutes between those contests. The back-to-back strong outings should strengthen Strawther's hold on a rotation spot, but fantasy players should expect some level of downturn in his recent production, particularly in the steals category.... Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Scores in double figures
Strawther racked up 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt), one rebound, four assists and three steals in 19 minutes during Sunday's 132-120 victory over the Spurs. Aaron Gordon (heel) and Jamal Murray (hamstring) were sidelined for this contest, allowing Strawther to handle an increased workload. The rookie has played at least 15 minutes in four of Denver's last five games, averaging 5.6 points, 1.8 assists and 1.4 rebounds during that stretch. However, Gordon and Murray are expected to return to action this week, so Strawther's path to consistent playing time won't be as easy.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Posts 21 points in reserve role
Strawther amassed 21 points (8-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 19 minutes during Monday's 134-116 win over the Pelicans. The Nuggets had to manage without Jamal Murray (hamstring), and his absence could extend well into next week. Reggie Jackson was expected to absorb a lot of Murray's output, but Strawther came off the bench and provided support to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who took on more of the floor general role as the game progressed. The 2023 first-round pick out of Gonzaga has proven to be a valuable asset for Denver, as he's versatile enough to play a variety of roles with the second unit.... See More ... See Less -
Nuggets' Julian Strawther: Off injury report
Strawther (ankle) isn't listed on the injury report for Tuesday's game versus the Lakers. Strawther is good to go Tuesday despite missing Denver's preseason finale with a right ankle sprain. The rookie forward will likely compete for a depth role in the Nuggets' forward rotation.... See More ... See Less

Harrison Wind@HarrisonWind5H agoIt feels like the Nuggets have pretty much coasted through four games, and they almost swept. Everything about this team makes you think they'll respond and take Game 5. A big Jamal Murray game and Denver wins easily.

Harrison Wind@HarrisonWind7H agoMaybe this is a wake-up call for the Nuggets because they've played uninspiring basketball throughout most of this series. Passive, low energy, almost like they're too good for this matchup. I think they finally take it seriously in Game 5 but we'll see.

Katy Winge@katywinge8H agoTBD if the Nuggets have the Lakers right where they want them… Denver hasn’t lead at the half in any of the three previous games of the series. They’ve been down by as many as 12/20/12 in the first three. Biggest lead for LAL tonight so far is 13.

Harrison Wind@HarrisonWind8H agoNuggets are up 3-0 and will probably win again tonight, but I hate the lethargic, passive energy Denver has played with throughout the series. They're building bad habits. It's frustrating.

Katy Winge@katywinge9H agoBiggest concern for the Nuggets in huddles so far is defending the paint. Remember LA had 70 inside last game. Already 20/23 points inside.
