Jaguars' Zay Jones: No longer facing charges
The Duval County Clerk of Court announced that Jones had a misdemeanor domestic battery charge dismissed Tuesday, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.
Jones was arrested in November, and while the dismissal of legal charges represents a positive outcome for the receiver, he could still face a suspension for a violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy. He has one year remaining on a three-year, $24 million contract with the Jaguars, though there's been speculation that he could be a cap casualty this offseason.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Targeted nine times in finale
Jones caught six of nine targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 28-20 loss to the Titans.
Jones played the most offensive snaps (66) of any Jaguars pass catcher Sunday in his return from a two-game absence with both knee and hamstring injuries. The veteran wideout's six receptions were a season high, and he concluded the campaign with 34 catches for 321 yards and two touchdowns across nine appearances. The 28-year-old will enter the final season of his three-year deal with Jacksonville in 2024, and his production could improve if he's able to maintain better health and if the Jaguars make no major additions to their pass-catching corps.

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Returning from two-game absence
Jones (knee/hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Jones was a limited participant in practice throughout the week, but he evidently demonstrated enough progress in his recovery from his respective lower-body injuries to make his return Sunday following a two-game absence. The Jaguars haven't indicated whether Jones will be in store for a full workload, but with Christian Kirk (groin) inactive for Week 18 despite being activated from injured reserve, the team won't have much established competition for reps behind No. 1 wideout Calvin Ridley. Jones will be making just his ninth appearance of the season Sunday, as knee issues also cost him time in Weeks 3 and 4 and Weeks 6 through 10.

Jones (hamstring/knee) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Titans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Jones is officially listed as questionable for the contest due to the pair of injuries, which prevented him from playing in Weeks 16 and 17. He was involved in each of the Jaguars' three practices this week, albeit as a limited participant. Jones seems to have demonstrated enough progress to put himself on a path to play Sunday, but official word on his status won't arrive until Jacksonville releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The 28-year-old has appeared in just eight games this season and is averaging 3.5 catches and 34.3 yards per contest while scoring two touchdowns.

Jones, fellow wide receiver Christian Kirk (groin) and quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder/finger) are all listed as questionable after each of them was a limited participant in all three of Jacksonville's practices this week. Jones has missed eight games this season due to injuries, including the last two. Per Demetrius Harvey of the Florida Times-Union, coach Doug Pederson said Friday that he expects Jones to be active Sunday.

Jones has now been listed as a limited participant on six consecutive practice reports, but because he's missed the Jaguars' last two games due to the pair of injuries, he may need to upgrade to full participation Friday to guarantee his availability for Sunday's contest versus the Titans. At the very least, Jones should take a questionable tag into the weekend if he maintains limited participation Friday. If Jones does gain clearance to play in the regular-season finale, he could find himself down to third in the pecking order at receiver behind Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk (groin), the latter of whom has turned in a pair of limited practices this week since being designated for return from injured reserve.

Jones got in limited reps last week at practice but was eventually deemed inactive ahead of the Jaguars' 26-0 win over the Perhaps. He likely has a better chance to suit up this Sunday versus Tennessee with an AFC South title on the line for the Jaguars. Jones has already missed eight games to various lower-body injuries.
