Titans' Justin Rigg: Lands new deal
Rigg signed a reserve/future contract with the Titans on Thursday, John Glennon of SI.com reports.
Rigg spent training camp with the Bengals after joining them as a UDFA in May. However, after being unable to make the team out of camp, he did find his way to the Steelers' practice squad. The Steelers waived Rigg from their practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Rigg spent time with the Bengals throughout training camp and preseason, but he was later waived by the team prior to the NFL's 53-man roster deadline in late-August. The rookie tight end joined the Steelers' practice squad the following Thursday, but his tenure in Pittsburgh came to a close after the team waived him Tuesday. The Steelers signed Rigg to their practice squad Thursday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Rigg was waived by the Bengals ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline, but he quickly found a new home in Pittsburgh via the practice squad.
