Alie-Cox had one reception for 15 yards on his only target in Sunday's win at Houston.
Cox got his first reception after failing to catch one of two targets in Week 1. Kylen Granson led Colts tight ends in snaps with 37 (compared to 23 snaps for Alie-Cox and 11 for Will Mallory) and his routes run also comfortably outpaced Alie-Cox (10) and Mallory (seven) in that category. Colts' Mo Alie-Cox: No receptions in season opener
Alie-Cox did not have a reception on two targets in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.
Cox played on 30 of the offense's 72 snaps as he and Kylen Granson got nearly all the TE snaps with Andrew Ogletree suffering a concussion. Even with several tight ends injured (Jelani Woods is on IR with a hamstring injury), Alie-Cox can't find his way into the passing game. Cox went out on a route on 16 of his snaps, according to Pro Football Focus, compared to Granson's 35 routes on 44 snaps. Alie-Cox looks like mostly a blocking tight end in the offense who may get a rare red-zone target due to his height (6-foot-7).

Alie-Cox was spotted on the sidelines wearing a boot on his foot. Alie-Cox had one reception for four yards on his lone target in Sunday's loss to Houston.
Alie-Cox entered 2022 as a potential sleeper tight end and red-zone target, but his production declined in almost every area. He had just 19 receptions for 189 yards and three touchdowns. He was also phased out of the offense in the second half of 2022 with just six receptions and 10 targets over his last eight games.

Alie-Cox failed to secure his lone target in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Giants.
Alie-Cox was a complete nonfactor Sunday while playing 31 of the Colts' 58 offensive snaps. Meanwhile, rookie tight end Jelani Woods was on the field for 35 snaps and saw four targets. The veteran continues to see his opportunities shrink with the emergence of Woods on offense. Despite his limited usage, Alie-Cox will look to bounce back when the Colts host the Texans in Week 18.

Colts' Mo Alie-Cox: Minimal role in passing attack
Alie-Cox caught one of two targets for two yards during Monday's 20-3 defeat versus the Chargers.
Alie-Cox saw 10 fewer snaps than Jelani Woods, and the former failed to make an impact in the passing game again. Woods, a rookie third-round pick, has caught 14 of 19 targets for 205 yards over his past four games and appears to have surpassed Alie-Cox on the depth chart. Alie-Cox's playing time figures to drop even more if Kylen Granson (ankle) returns to action before the end of the campaign.
