Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Zero shots since joining new team
Jeannot had three blocks and one hit in 15:11 of ice time in a 4-3 shootout win over the Devils on Thursday.
Jeannot has three assists in 10 games with Tampa Bay, but he has no shots. Overall, the abrasive winger's offensive struggles this season have continued in Florida, and he has just 17 points in 66 games after delivering 41 in 2020-21. Jeannot's value to the Bolts lies in his ability to lay the body in the regular season and playoffs. He's pretty much droppable in most formats at this point.

Lightning's Tanner Jeannot: Dealt to Tampa Bay
Nashville traded Jeannot to the Lightning on Sunday in exchange for Cal Foote and five draft picks, including a 2025 first-round pick.
Jeannot was scratched from Sunday's game as a trade began to take shape, and it was finalized quickly. The 25-year-old broke out during the 2021-22 season with 24 goals and 41 points, but that came with an unsustainable 19.4 shooting percentage. This season, he has 14 points through 56 games. However, Jeannot has racked up a ridiculous 531 hits over the last two years, including 213 in 2022-23. He'll be a bottom-six piece for the Lightning before becoming a restricted free agent this offseason.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Out Sunday
Jeannot will not play Sunday against Arizona due to trade-related reasons.
It appears that Nashville is shopping Jeannot on the market and doesn't want to risk injury in the meantime. The 25-year-old has just 14 points through 56 games after his breakout 2021-22 campaign. He likely won't suit up until after the trade deadline unless another team acquires him before then.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Physical presence in loss
Jeannot posted eight hits and registered 10 PIM in the Predators' 5-0 loss to the Bruins on Thursday.
Although not hitting the scoresheet, Jeannot made his presence felt on the ice, throwing out eight hits and taking a misconduct penalty in the third period. After posting a 24-goal, 41-point campaign last season, Jeannot has not been able to keep pace with that production so far this season with just 14 points in 52 games. The Canadian forward should continue to see time in the Predators' bottom-six forward core.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Provides game-winner vs. Jets
Jeannot found the back of the net in a 2-1 victory over the Jets on Tuesday.
Jeannot's goal at 5:38 of the third period proved to be the game-winner. He has four goals and 12 points in 47 contests in 2022-23. Jeannot has a goal and three points over his last five games, which makes this one of his hottest offensive stretches this season.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Gathers helper in win
Jeannot posted an assist, two PIM, two blocked shots and five hits in Monday's 2-1 win over the Flames.
Jeannot has started to get more involved on offense with four helpers over his last 10 games. In that span, he's maintained his grit with 16 PIM and 29 hits. The 25-year-old winger has endured a sophomore slump this season with 10 points through 43 contests after posting 41 points in 81 outings as a rookie last year. He's added 70 shots on net, 157 hits, 57 PIM and 41 blocked shots in 2022-23 while playing in a bottom-six role.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Rare assist in Saturday loss
Jeannot recorded a second-period assist in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.
Jeannot now has just six points in 25 games this season and is unlikely to be much of an offensive presence given his checking-line role. He's currently skating on the Preds' third line alongside Juuso Parssinen and Yakov Trenin.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Snaps long pointless drought
Jeannot registered his first point in 13 outings and delivered a team-high five hits during Tuesday's 2-1 victory over the visiting Ducks.
After starting his career with 48 points in 84 appearances, Jeannot entered Tuesday enduring a prolonged scoring slump, producing just four points in 32 outings. The 25-year-old left winger earned a secondary assist on linemate Colton Sissons' second-period goal to open the scoring Tuesday. The helper was Jeannot's first in 15 games. Jeannot also suffered through a prolonged pointless skid during the final 12 games last season.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Collects two points
Jeannot scored a goal and drew an assist, but the Predators fell to the Blue Jackets, 5-3 on Thursday.
Jeannot, who has connected during consecutive contests, scored to open the scoring Thursday. The 25-year-old right winger is heating up after a cool start. Jeannot was held pointless during the Predators' opening four games, generating just five shots and absorbing a minus-2 rating. Jeannot's second goal developed Thursday after he drove to the net and executed a give-and-go with linemate Colton Sissons. Jeannot's initial scoring attempt was blocked, but he paused at the side of the net and scored on the rebound. Jeannot's line, also featuring Yakov Trenin, accounted for a combined six points (two goals and four assists).

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Nets first goal of season
Jeannot scored a goal on five shots, levied five hits and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Kings.
Jeannot's offense has been quiet to begin 2022-23 -- his goal Tuesday was his first point in five games. The physical winger has added 21 hits, 10 shots on net, nine PIM and a minus-1 rating as a part of the Predators' third line. He had 24 goals and 17 assists in 81 contests last year, but he shot 19.4 percent, so it's fair to expect some regression in his second full season.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Earns first playoff assist
Jeannot recorded an assist and two hits in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Avalanche in Game 4.
The Predators exited the postseason in just four games, but not before Jeannot earned his first playoff point with a helper on a Yakov Trenin goal in the second period. Jeannot clearly hit the rookie wall in April, logging just one goal and one assist in his last 19 appearances between the regular season and playoffs. That watered down an otherwise impressive rookie year that saw the winger post 41 points, 318 hits, 130 PIM and 124 shots on net in 81 regular-season outings.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Away from team
Jeannot (personal) won't play Thursday versus the Golden Knights as he returns to Nashville to attend the birth of his child.
Jeannot was a late scratch Thursday, but for a good reason. Matt Luff will play instead, while Jeannot should be good to go for Sunday's game versus the Flyers.

Predators' Tanner Jeannot: Rips PP goal Saturday
Jeannot notched his fourth goal in his last four games with a power-play marker in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Lightning.
Now with 32 points in 53 games this season (18G, 14A), Jeannot currently sits sixth in the NHL's rookie scoring race. He continues to play mostly on the third line at even strength, but he's certainly been making the most of his scoring opportunities. Jeannot's future seems to be very bright in Nashville, indeed -- grab him off your league's waiver wire if he's somehow still available.

Jeannot scored a shorthanded goal and added an empty-netter at even strength in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Panthers.
Jeannot tied the game at four goals apiece with 9:19 remaining despite Florida being up a man at the time, and he sealed the win by scoring into the empty net with 1:32 to go. With 17 goals in 51 games, Jeannot's on pace to surpass 25 goals in his first full NHL season.
