Maniscalco was released from his professional tryout by the Blackhawks and assigned to AHL Rockford on Friday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Maniscalco has yet to see any action in an NHL game. Jalen Luypen, Josh Healey, Ross MacDougall and Andrew Perrott were also sent to Rockford.
