Simpson (concussion) was a full participant in Friday's practice and does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams. Ravens' Trenton Simpson: Returns to practice Wednesday
Simpson (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice session, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Simpson sustained a concussion in Week 10 against the Browns and missed the next two games. His full participation in Wednesday's practice is a good sign he's on track to return for Sunday's game against the Rams.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Trenton Simpson: Missing another week
Simpson (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. The 22-year-old linebacker was able to log a limited practice session Wednesday, but he recorded a DNP both Thursday and Friday, so it's no surprise that he'll be inactive Sunday. Simpson has appeared in 10 games for Baltimore thus far, recording three total tackles and primarily playing on special teams.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Trenton Simpson: Battling soft tissue injury

The third-round rookie out of Clemson is expected to open his NFL career as the top linebacker reserve behind Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen.... See More ... See Less -
Ravens' Trenton Simpson: Landed by Baltimore in third round
The Ravens selected Simpson in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 86th overall. It's not obvious why Simpson fell this far -- he seemed like a fine selection as high as the second round -- but this looks like a solid pick for Baltimore. The Clemson product has 4.43 speed at 6-foot-2, 235 pounds, and in college he showed the ability to play the edge surprisingly well for a player of his frame, which is more commonly seen in off-ball linebackers. Simpson might be able to displace Patrick Queen in time.... See More ... See Less

I might look at it and say, 'If you've run a fast 40 time, he would've gotten picked in the top 15. So if you love him as a player and he drops, that might be an opportunity."

Brian Wacker@brianwacker11D ago#Ravens GM Eric DeCosta did a draft class breakdown today. Some insight: -WR Ricky Pearsall was a “sleeper” he thought would be available later -Isaac’s tape impressed but was “blown away” by story of him & non-verbal siblings -Didn’t think WR Tez Walker would be there in Rd 4 https://t.co/vUDiyKMMNN
