  • Dolphins' Robbie Chosen: Called up to active roster

The Dolphins elevated Chosen to the active roster Saturday.

The move corresponds with Jaylen Waddle (concussion) being ruled out of Sunday's contest against the Broncos. Chosen was cut by the Dolphins on Aug. 29 but opted to join their practice squad Sept. 4. He played for the Cardinals and Panthers last season and registered 20 catches for 282 yards and a touchdown in 16 games.

  • Robbie Chosen: Joins practice squad

Chosen signed with the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Chosen spent training camp with the Dolphins, but he was ultimately unable to secure a spot on the team's 53-man roster. However, the 30-year-old will get another opportunity with the franchise and will try to work his way to the active roster from the practice squad.

  • Robbie Chosen: Can't stick with Dolphins

Miami is slated to release Chosen on Tuesday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

The 30-year-old wideout failed to differentiate himself in a competition for a roster spot with the likes of River Cracraft, Braxton Berrios and Cedrick Wilson, the latter of whom agreed to a restructured contract Tuesday. Chosen combined for just 282 receiving yards across 16 games between the Cardinals and Panthers last season, and he wasn't productive in preseason action for the Dolphins. Even if he lands a reserve role elsewhere, he figures to remain off the fantasy radar except in the deepest of leagues.

  • Dolphins' Robbie Chosen: Plays in preseason win

Chosen (undisclosed) failed to secure his only target during Saturday's preseason win over Houston.

Chosen missed Miami's preseason opener with an undisclosed injury, but he's now back to full health. The veteran wideout's lone target came from backup quarterback Skylar Thompson in the second quarter, in a game where 10 players successfully recorded a catch for Miami. The Dolphins' competition at No. 3 wideout is still open, but both Braxton Berrios and Cedrick Wilson have been more productive than Chosen so far this preseason.

  • Dolphins' Robbie Chosen: Dealing with injury

Coach Mike McDaniel said Chosen didn't play in Friday's 19-3 preseason defeat to the Falcons due to an undisclosed injury, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

In his first chance to suit up for the Dolphins, Chosen was held out along with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle (midsection) and Braylon Sanders (lower body). Meanwhile, fellow WR Braxton Berrios departed early due to an unknown health concern of his own. As a result, Miami's healthy wide receivers at the moment are Hill, Cedrick Wilson, River Cracraft and Erik Ezukanma, among others.

  • Dolphins' Robbie Anderson: Agrees to deal with Miami

Anderson and the Dolphins agreed to terms on a contract Saturday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

Anderson was released by Arizona following the 2022 campaign after catching just seven of 17 targets for 76 yards over 10 appearances with the Cardinals. He started the season with Carolina, where he posted 13 receptions on 27 targets for 206 yards and one score. The speedster had a career-high 1,096 receiving yards in 2020, but he's struggled to replicate that type of production since. He's not guaranteed anything in Miami, but if he's able to get back to his 2020 form, he could carve out a solid role behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

  • Robbie Anderson: Cut by Arizona

Arizona released Anderson on Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

This move was expected after Anderson struggled to produce for the Cardinals after coming over in a midseason deal with the Panthers back in October. Over his 10 appearances for Arizona, Anderson tallied seven receptions for 76 yards and no touchdowns on 17 targets. Anderson's release clears $12 million in cap space for Arizona.

  • Cardinals' Robbie Anderson: Expected to be released by Arizona

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Cardinals are expected to release Anderson.

This is a no-brainer mover for new Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort. Acquired from the Panthers in Week 7 last season, Anderson ended up catching seven passes for 76 scoreless yards across 10 games for Arizona. Releasing Anderson will save the Cardinals $12 million in cap space.
