Sow (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Jets.

Patriots' Trent Brown: Clears concussion protocol
Brown (concussion) has cleared the league's protocols and will play in Sunday's game versus the Jets, Mark Daniels of The Providence Journal reports.
Brown will return from a one-game absence due to the concussion he sustained in Week 1. Barring any setbacks, he should take on his usual role protecting Mac Jones' blind side at left tackle.

Patriots' Jonathan Jones: Draws questionable tag
Jones (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Jets, Chris Jones of Masslive.com reports.
Jones is attempting to return from a one-game absence. His status Sunday will likely depend on his pain tolerance in regard to his ankle. If he cannot go, Shaun Wade and Jalen Mills are candidates to see increased workloads.

Patriots' DeVante Parker: Cleared to play Week 3
Parker (knee) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's Week 3 game against the Jets, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
Parker played 100 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's loss to the Dolphins, recording six catches for 57 scoreless yards. He'll see a lot of Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed in coverage this week, making Parker an unexciting fantasy play.

Patriots' Will Grier: Signed by New England
The Patriots officially signed Grier to their active roster Friday.
Grier, who had been on the Bengals' practice squad, gives the team added signal-caller depth behind Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe ahead of Week 3 action. Per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, coach Bill Belichick noted Friday that Grier will be the Patriots' emergency third QB for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Patriots' Marcus Jones: Shift to IR official
The Patriots officially placed Jones (shoulder) on injured reserve Friday.
Jones will miss at least four contests due to a torn labrum sustained Week 2 versus the Dolphins, though the nature of his injury could result in a longer absence. Until the rookie third-round pick is able to return, Shaun Wade and Myles Bryant will stand to handle expanded roles on defense.
