  • Jets' Denzel Mims: No TDs through three seasons

Mims wasn't targeted in Sunday's 11-6 loss to the Dolphins.

He finishes the season with 11 catches for 186 yards on 25 targets. Since being selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Mims has yet to score a touchdown in 30 career games. He received opportunities earlier in the season when the Jets dealt with injuries to other wideouts but struggled to do much with his chances while battling drops. It's hard to describe Mims as anything but a bust at this point, and given that he doesn't contribute on special teams, the 25-year-old wide receiver will be a candidate to get cut in training camp this summer barring a noticeable improvement during the Jets' offseason program.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: Targeted once in Week 17

Mims didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 23-6 loss to Seattle.

Mims suited up after clearing concussion protocol but played a minimal role with each of New York's top three wide receivers healthy. The disappointing second-round selection from the 2020 NFL Draft will likely remain buried in a depth role when the Jets close their season out in Miami in Week 18.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: Clears concussion protocol

Mims (concussion) will play Sunday against the Seahawks, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

Mims will be back on the field Sunday after he missed the Jets' Week 16 loss to the Jaguars while recovering from the concussion he sustained the week prior versus Detroit. With the Jets in a must-win situation, they'll get some added depth at wide receiver with Mims' return. The 25-year-old has compiled 11 catches for 186 yards over eight contests this season.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: Practices fully Thursday

Mims (concussion) practiced fully Thursday, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

After logging a limited session Wednesday, Mims progressed to a full practice Thursday, which has him trending toward being active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Friday's final injury report will confirm whether Mims has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol, and, if so, he should head into the weekend minus a Week 17 injury designation.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: Reaches final step of protocol

Jets head coach Robert Saleh said Mims returned to practice Wednesday and is in the final stage of concussion protocol, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.

Mims looks on track to return for Sunday's game in Seattle, though perhaps only as the No. 4 or 5 wide receiver now that Garrett Wilson, Corey Davis and Elijah Moore are all healthy.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: Won't play Thursday

Mims (concussion) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Jaguars, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Mims had only four days to clear the NFL's concussion protocol after suffering the brain injury in Sunday's 21-19 loss to Detroit. The good news for the Jets is that Corey Davis is back in the lineup, joining Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore and Braxton Berrios to form a talented and varied wideout group. Mims' next chance to play will come Jan. 1 at Seattle.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: Not practicing

Mims (concussion) didn't participate in Tuesday's practice, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Mims had been filling in for Corey Davis, who was a full participant Tuesday after missing the past couple games in concussion protocol. Jeff Smith, who replaced Mims in Sunday's loss to the Lions, also missed Tuesday's practice (with a knee injury). It thus appears Davis could be back in the lineup and handling a full-time role Thursday night against Jacksonville.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: Listed as DNP on practice estimate

Mims (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Mims was limited to six snaps in Sunday's loss to the Lions and now will need to clear the concussion protocol in short order to have a chance to suit up Thursday night against the Jaguars. Also appearing on Monday's practice estimate were fellow wideouts Jeff Smith (knee, DNP) and Corey Davis (concussion, limited) , which makes the trio's status worth monitoring ahead of Week 16 action.

Mims is being evaluated for a concussion during Sunday's game against the Lions.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: Three catches after Davis injury

Mims caught three of five targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Bills.

Mims was more involved after Corey Davis (head) exited in the first half. Davis took a knee to the head, so his absence may linger through Week 15 against the Lions and beyond, and Mims should see an uptick in playing time for the duration of his fellow wide receiver's absence.

  • Jets' Denzel Mims: One target in Week 13

Mims didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Vikings.

The only ball thrown Mims' way was a deep jump ball along the sidelines. It hit him in the hands but he failed to come down with it. His struggles with drops will continue to limit Mims' value moving forward.
