Jets' Irvin Charles: Added to active roster
The Jets elevated Charles from the practice squad Saturday.
Charles spent the preseason with the Jets before being waived as part of the team's final roster cuts in late August. The undrafted wideout has spent the entirety of his rookie campaign on the team's practice squad, and he's now in line to make his NFL debut during Sunday's regular-season finale against Miami. Charles, who caught four passes for 27 yards during the preseason, will likely slot into a deep reserve role alongside Braxton Berrios and Denzel Mims.

Irvin Charles: Comes back on practice squad
The Jets signed Charles to the team's practice squad Wednesday, Randy Lange of the team's official site reports.
Charles originally joined the Jets in May as an undrafted free agent out of Division II Indiana (Pa.), but he was subsequently waived. Throughout the team's three preseason contests, the 25-year-old collected four catches for 27 yards. Charles will now serve as a depth option for New York if the team's receiving corps is hampered by injuries this season.

Irvin Charles: Waived by Jets
The Jets waived Charles on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Charles was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Division II Indiana (Pa.) and played well during training camp. Per Wilson, the Jets plan to sign Charles to their practice squad if he clears waivers.
