  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Mars impressive effort with fumble

Flowers secured five of eight targets for 115 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for four yards in the Ravens' 17-10 AFC Championship Game loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. He also lost a fumble. Flowers' turnover was of such importance that it nearly overshadowed his otherwise spectacular performance in his second career postseason game. The rookie first-round pick recorded a picturesque 30-yard scoring grab in the first quarter to answer the Chiefs' first touchdown and then added a 54-yard reception to kick off a late third-quarter drive. However, Flowers was flagged for taunting at the end of that play, and the 15 yards that cost Baltimore may have changed the dynamic of their play calling. Instead of focusing on the run, the Ravens took to the air, and Flowers eventually fumbled just before crossing the goal line at the end of an eight-yard catch, a critical turnover given the game's final score. The disappointing end to the season doesn't take away from the optimism Flowers generated with his first-year performance, as he posted a 77-858-5 line across 16 regular-season games while adding eight carries for 56 yards and another score.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sitting out Saturday

Flowers (calf) is listed as inactive Saturday against the Steelers. Flowers played through a calf injury during the Ravens' Week 17 win against the Dolphins en route to three catches (on three targets) for 106 yards and one touchdown on a 66 percent share of snaps. Having said that, he wasn't able to practice during Week 18 prep due to the same issue, and with the team having locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC, he'll be afforded two weeks off to get healthy for a divisional-round matchup Saturday, Jan. 20 or Sunday, Jan. 21.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sits out another practice

Flowers (calf) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. The Ravens won't release their final injury report of the regular season until later Thursday, but after failing to practice in any fashion this week, Flowers appears to be trending toward sitting out Saturday's game against the Steelers. With Baltimore having already clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, the team can afford to take a cautious approach with banged-up players like Flowers, who will presumably be closer to 100 percent by the time the Ravens play their first postseason game in the divisional round. Even if Baltimore chooses to make Flowers active against the Steelers, the rookie wideout may play only limited snaps, if any.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Still not practicing Wednesday

Flowers (calf) didn't practice Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. After the Ravens estimated him as a non-participant on Tuesday's practice report due to a calf issue, Flowers remained on the sideline one day later as the team reconvened for actual on-field work ahead of Saturday's regular-season finale against the Steelers. Baltimore is locked in as the No. 1 seed in the AFC side of the playoffs, so if the team has any qualms about Flowers' health, it may err on the side of caution and hold him out this weekend with an eye toward having him healthy for the divisional round.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: DNP on practice estimate

Flowers (calf) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's estimated injury report. Flowers kicked off Week 17 prep in the exact same situation, following it up with a true DNP and then logging a limited session before the Ravens considered him questionable for this past Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He was active though and he didn't look worse for wear en route to three catches on three targets for 106 yards and a touchdown. There's been no indication that Flowers is in danger of sitting out Saturday versus the Steelers, but with Baltimore having nothing to play for and locked into the top seed in the AFC for the playoffs, they may be more cautious this time around with the rookie wideout.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Eclipses century mark in win

Flowers brought in all three targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 56-19 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. Flowers got behind the Dolphins' short-handed secondary for a 75-yard touchdown late in the first half that extended the Ravens' 14-13 lead at the time. The rookie wideout's yardage total was a new career high, and if Flowers does indeed sit with some other Ravens starters in Week 18 now that Baltimore has clinched the AFC's No. 1 seed, he'll finish his first regular season with an impressive 77-858-5 line across 16 games.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: In clear for Sunday's game

Flowers (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. The rookie wideout carried a questionable designation into Sunday after the calf injury kept him from practicing Wednesday and Thursday before he returned to the field Friday as a limited participant. Despite the light practice activity this week, Flowers won't be forced to miss the first game of his career, though the Ravens' decision to keep a sixth receiver (Laquon Treadwell) active for Week 17 could hint that the former might have his snaps managed. Flowers drew a season-high 13 targets in the Ravens' Week 16 win over the 49ers, hauling in nine passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Start Him (Lineup Decisions)

Flowers' massive target share last week against the 49ers was partially because the Ravens run game couldn't get going. That's something I remember noticing earlier in the year, and something the Ravens have seemingly rediscovered. The Dolphins run defense has been really good this season, so I suspect we'll see Flowers used similarly this week. That means increased volume with a chance at some big plays. The Dolphins pass defense was tough against the Jets two weeks ago but struggled with the Cowboys last week, especially on shorter throws. Flowers is a low-end WR2 with large upside; I'd start him over Calvin Ridley, the Steelers WRs, Tyler Lockett and Drake London.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Questionable after limited practice

Flowers (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Flowers got back on the practice field Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday, but he managed only a limited session, so the rookie could be in danger of missing a game for the first time in his NFL career. Final word on Flowers' availability may not come until 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff between the 11-4 Dolphins and 12-3 Ravens.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Back at practice Friday

Flowers (calf) returned to practice Friday, Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun reports. Flowers didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, so it's encouraging that he's practicing Friday, though his participation level has yet to be clarified. The rookie wideout has yet to miss a game in his NFL career, but he may carry an injury designation into Sunday's home game against the Dolphins when the Ravens post their Week 17 injury report later Friday.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Misses another practice

Flowers (calf) isn't practicing Thursday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. The Ravens haven't indicated that Flowers is in danger of sitting out Sunday's game against the Dolphins, but the rookie receiver's lack of activity in both of the team's first two Week 17 practices isn't the most encouraging sign for his health. Flowers would assuage some of the concern about his status for Sunday if he's able to get back on the field Friday in any capacity. He's coming off one of his stronger outings of the season in the Ravens' 33-19 win over the 49ers on Monday, when he hauled in nine of 13 targets for 72 yards and a touchdown.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Suiting up Monday

Flowers (foot) is active for Monday's contest in San Francisco. After opening Week 16 prep last Thursday as limited due to a foot injury, Flowers followed it up with back-to-back full sessions but still was listed as questionable for Monday's outing. With his status now clarified, he'll be taking on a 49ers defense that has surrendered the fifth-most catches (202) to opposing wide receivers in 14 games this season.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Questionable for Monday

Flowers (foot) is listed as questionable for Monday's game in San Francisco. On Wednesday, coach John Harbaugh revealed that Flowers was tending to a foot injury, but the Ravens weren't worried about his availability for Week 16, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. Flowers proceeded to be limited at Thursday's practice before bumping up to full activity Friday and Saturday. Still, his status won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes before Monday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: WRs to Sit

Flowers is dealing with a foot injury, which caused him to miss practice Wednesday, but coach John Harbaugh didn't seem concerned. Flowers is coming off a bad game in Week 15 at Jacksonville with one catch for 7 yards on two targets, and I would only consider him a low-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in Week 16 at San Francisco. Prior to Week 15, Flowers scored at least 20 PPR points in each of his previous two games against the Chargers and Rams, but Flowers could struggle if he's matched up with San Francisco cornerback Charvarius Ward. This doesn't feel like a great spot to trust the rookie receiver.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Bothered by foot Wednesday

Flowers (foot) didn't practice Wednesday due to a foot injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. The Ravens won't release their first official Week 16 injury report until Thursday, but if his lack of activity Wednesday is any indication, Flowers could open the week as a non-participant. Given that the Ravens will travel to San Francisco for a Monday game against the 49ers, Flowers will have an extra day to heal up from the injury he presumably sustained in this past Sunday's win over Jacksonville. The injury could in part explain why Flowers was limited to one catch for seven yards on two targets in Week 15, all of which were his worst or second-worst marks of the season.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Suits up Sunday

Flowers (hip) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Chargers. Flowers, who approached the contest officially listed as questionable, missed practice Thursday, but he was a full participant Friday and declared himself "ready to go" afterward, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN. With his active status for Sunday night's contest confirmed, the Ravens' leading receiver is slated to remain a key target for QB Lamar Jackson in a pass-catching corps that will be without star tight end Mark Andrews, who was placed on IR on Saturday due to an ankle injury. Through 11 games this season, Flowers has compiled a 53/588/1 receiving line on 72 targets, with the 2023 first-rounder's standing within Baltimore's offense providing him with weekly fantasy utility.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sleeper WRs

I like the setup for Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr. with Mark Andrews (ankle) out for the Ravens, and both should be considered No. 3 Fantasy receivers in the majority of leagues for Week 12 against the Chargers. Andrews missed Week 1 this season against Houston, and Flowers had a strong NFL debut with nine catches for 78 yards on targets. He only has one game with more than eight PPR points in his past four outings, but I expect him to see more targets with Andrews out. And Beckham has either a touchdown or 100 receiving yards in three games in a row, and he should be a good red-zone target for Lamar Jackson with Andrews off the field. The Chargers are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, so look for Flowers and Beckham to have the chance for a big game.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Questionable despite full practice

Flowers (hip) was a full practice participant Friday but is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at the Chargers. Flowers already downplayed his absence from practice Thursday and told reporters his availability for Sunday has never been in doubt, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. A full practice to close out the week confirms the rookie is on track to play, though the Ravens will leave the door open for a last-second change of heart or setback. Fellow wideout Odell Beckham (shoulder) also is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game despite upgrading to full practice participation Friday.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Limited with hip injury

Flowers was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hip injury. The Ravens haven't indicated that Flowers' injury is serious, but Wednesday marked the first time this season he practiced as anything but a full participant. Flowers played 98 percent of Baltimore's snaps on offense in a 34-20 win over the Bengals last Thursday, finishing with four touches for 50 yards after a dubious holding call cost him a 69-yard touchdown on a screen pass. The rookie already leads Baltimore in targets (72) and looks like a clear No. 1 option in the passing game after tight end Mark Andrews suffered a significant leg injury last week. Flowers should be busy Sunday against the Chargers if he's able to move past the hip injury.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Five grabs in loss

Flowers secured five of six targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Browns. After seeing just one target in Week 9, Flowers bounced back with a solid performance Sunday. The rookie receiver led the Ravens in targets, catches and receiving yards, but failed to find the end zone in the contest. Through 10 games, Flowers has scored just one touchdown despite leading Baltimore with 68 targets. With favorable matchups down the stretch, the 23-year-old could have the opportunity to improve his fantasy production while continuing to soak up targets from Lamar Jackson. Flowers will look to maintain his role as Jackson's preferred option at wideout when the Ravens host the Bengals in Week 11.
