Lucas missed the Commanders' final game of the 2022 season with an ankle injury, but he's now fully healthy heading into 2023. The 31-year-old is expected to operate as a backup option behind Charles Leno at left tackle this year.

Commanders' Cornelius Lucas: Ruled out for Week 18
Lucas (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Cowboys, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
It's unclear when Lucas sustained the ankle injury, but the offensive tackle will be forced to miss the Commanders' season finale in Week 18. In his absence, Samuel Cosmi could draw the start at right tackle versus Dallas.
