The Steelers signed Williams to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Williams signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee Martin, though he was waived in mid-August after three months with the team. The 24-year-old then signed with Pittsburgh's practice squad Sept. 13. Williams will now compete for a chance to make his NFL debut heading into the 2023 campaign.

Williams signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee Martin, but he was waived ahead of the 85-man roster deadline. However, the 6-foot-4 tight end will extend his NFL dream by attempting to carve out a role on Pittsburgh's practice squad. During his final collegiate season, Williams caught 29 passes for 417 yards and three touchdowns.

Williams signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee Martin, but he finds himself among the first wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 85-man roster deadline. In his final collegiate season, the 6-foot-4 tight end caught 29 passes for 417 yards and three touchdowns.
