Commanders' Benjamin St-Juste: Uneven performance in 2023
St-Juste finished 2023 with 67 tackles, 17 pass defenses, two forced fumbles, 1.0 sacks and one interception in 16 games.
The 2021 third-round pick had a career year from an IDP standpoint but was one of the most picked-on cornerbacks in the league. At least three different stat services placed St-Juste in the bottom six among all players for yards allowed in coverage, and a new coaching staff in Washington may want him out of the starting lineup in 2024 for the final season of his rookie contract.

Commanders' Benjamin St-Juste: Ready for Sunday
St-Juste (concussion) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Washington's top cornerback was able to practice in full for the second consecutive day, and he's set to face the Cowboys in Week 18 after clearing concussion protocol. St-Juste has started all 15 of the games he's appeared in for Washington this season, racking up 63 total tackles, 17 pass deflections and one interception.

St-Juste (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
There's still no word on whether the 26-year-old cornerback has passed concussion protocol, but he was able to practice in full Thursday after recording a limited session Wednesday. St-Juste missed the Commanders' Week 17 loss to the 49ers, and unless he's able to officially clear protocol by Friday, he could very well carry an injury designation into Week 18.

St-Juste will miss his first game of the season in Week 17 as he recovers from a concussion. Kendall Fuller (knee) is also out Sunday, leaving rookie second-rounder Quan Martin as perhaps Washington's top option at cornerback.

St-Juste suffered a concussion in Washington's loss to the Jets in Week 16 and his absence Wednesday comes as no surprise. The cornerback will look to progress through concussion protocol prior to Sunday's matchup with the 49ers. If he's unable to do so, Quan Martin and Tariq Castro-Fields will likely see an uptick in usage against San Francisco.
