  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Bottled up in season finale

Knight rushed 12 times for 22 yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 11-6 loss to the Dolphins. Knight burst onto the scene with consecutive 100-yard scrimmage games, but he cooled off after the hot start, totaling only 70 rushing yards on 39 rushing attempts for a paltry 1.8 yards per carry over his last four appearances. The undrafted rookie could factor into the Jets' backfield plans next season, though he'll likely be pushed to a reserve role whenever Breece Hall (knee) is deemed healthy. Knight totaled exactly 300 yards on 85 carries and 13 catches for 100 yards on 14 targets across seven appearances.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Held in check again

Knight carried the ball eight times for 27 yards and caught two of three targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 23-6 loss to the Seahawks. The rookie running back had another disappointing performance despite leading the Jets backfield in touches, albeit barely over Ty Johnson (nine touches). With New York now eliminated from playoff contention, the focus of the team's game plan in Week 18 could be on developing younger players, but Knight's poor numbers the last few games may have already shown the Jets all they needed to see.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

It's risky to trust Knight again given his production the past two games against Detroit and Jacksonville when he combined for just four PPR points, but that was with Zach Wilson under center. With Mike White back, the Bam Knight party should get back on track. In three games with White, Knight scored at least 12 PPR points, including two games with at least 100 total yards and three catches. He'll share touches with Michael Carter, but this is a great matchup for the Jets in Week 17 at Seattle. The Seahawks are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and Seattle has allowed nine total touchdowns to the position in the past five games. With White at quarterback, I'm trusting Knight as a flex option again in all leagues.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Forgettable night in Week 16 loss

Knight rushed six times for minus-2 yards and brought in his only target for 15 yards in the Jets' 19-3 loss to the Jaguars on Thursday night. Knight paced the Jets' running backs in rush attempts, but that was largely irrelevant due to the sparse volume and the non-existent production it led to. Knight's brief moment of success came on his one reception, but he'll head into what is a favorable Week 17 road matchup against the Seahawks with 21 yards on 19 carries over his last two games. Although Knight had put in a full practice Wednesday despite dealing with an ankle issue, the extra time between Thursday and the game against Seattle should benefit the rookie's overall health.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Active for Thursday's game

Knight (ankle) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Jaguars. Though Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site noted earlier in the week that Knight came out of a Week 15 loss to Detroit with an ankle issue, the running back wasn't listed on the team's first two Week 16 injury reports, before being listed as a full practice participant Wednesday and questionable for Thursday's contest. With Knight's active status confirmed, look for the 5-foot-10, 209-pounder to lead New York's ground game versus Jacksonville, with Michael Carter mixing in and Ty Johnson on hand in reserve.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Flex Starter (Lineup Decisions)

Knight makes me nervous. Jets running backs not named Breece Hall have mostly struggled with Zach Wilson on the field, and Knight's matchup isn't as juicy as it seems. But it's the bad weather that could force the Jets to lean on Knight, though the Jaguars would know it and plan accordingly. I would sit Knight in favor of A.J. Dillon, Latavius Murray, Raheem Mostert and Leonard Fournette, but he has appeal over lesser backs like Cam Akers, the Lions RBs and the Commanders RBs.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Expected to play Thursday

Knight (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Jaguars, is in line to play, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports. Despite being listed as a full participant at Wednesday's practice, Knight still took a designation into the Week 16 contest. Fantasy managers who are planning on using Knight this week will still want to ensure that he's officially cleared when the Jets release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. Knight has taken hold of the lead role out of the New York backfield, but after three quality performances to kick off his NFL career, the undrafted rookie out of NC State stumbled in last week's loss to the Lions. He carried 13 times for just 23 yards against Detroit and failed to draw a target across his 28 snaps.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Sit Him (Lineup Decisions)

Knight makes me nervous. Jets running backs not named Breece Hall have mostly struggled with Zach Wilson on the field, and Knight's matchup isn't as juicy as it seems. Bad weather could force the Jets to lean on Knight, but the Jaguars would know it and plan accordingly. I would sit Knight in favor of A.J. Dillon, Latavius Murray, Raheem Mostert and both Buccaneers RBs.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Gets questionable tag for Week 16

Knight (ankle) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Jaguars after being listed as a full participant at Wednesday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site previously noted that Knight came out of the Jets' Week 15 loss to Detroit with the ankle issue, but he wasn't listed on the team's first two Week 16 injury reports. Per Cimini, Knight is trending toward playing versus Jacksonville, but the questionable designation nonetheless makes the running back's status worth confirming ahead of Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Not listed on injury report

Knight (ankle) isn't listed on the Jets' injury report ahead of Thursday night's game against the Jaguars, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site previously relayed that Knight came out of Week 15 action with an ankle issue, but Knight didn't appear on the team's practice/injury report following Monday's walkthrough. Based on that, Knight is on track to suit up for Thursday's contest and thus in line to continue to lead New York's backfield Week 16, with Michael Carter mixing in.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Chance to play Thursday

Knight (ankle) could play Thursday versus the Jaguars, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports. Knight is dealing with an ankle injury sustained during Sunday's loss to the Lions, in which he carried the ball 13 times for 23 yards and wasn't targeted. The undrafted rookie may have to practice as at least a limited participant prior to Thursday's contest to have any chance of suiting up. If he does play but is still hampered by the ankle issue, Knight may end up splitting touches with Michael Carter.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Worst game as pro in Week 15

Knight rushed 13 times for 23 yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Lions. Knight was the only Jets running back to record a rushing attempt in the first half, but he was bottled up by an improving Detroit front, mustering only 15 yards on eight carries. He split touches with Michael Carter in the second half as New York continued to struggle on the ground. Knight's fresh legs gave him an edge over tired defenders when he first joined the Jets in Week 12, but perhaps the undrafted rookie out of NC State is starting to wear down himself as New York prepares to host the Jaguars on Thursday.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Leads backfield in Carter's return

Knight rushed 17 times for 71 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for six yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Bills. Knight was bottled up in the first half but finally broke free for a 13-yard touchdown run on the first possession after halftime, shaking off tackles to tie the score at seven. He finished with 19 touches to eight for Michael Carter, who mustered only 20 scrimmage yards and lost a crucial fumble in his return from an ankle injury. Knight has 298 scrimmage yards through his first three NFL games and should maintain the lead role in Week 15 against the generous Lions run defense.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: RBs to Start

Knight has been fantastic as the lead running back for the Jets for the past two weeks, and I'm willing to trust him even against the Bills. In two games since Michael Carter hurt his ankle in Week 12 against Chicago, Knight has over 100 total yards in both outings and eight receptions for 62 yards on eight targets. The work in the passing game matters here since Mike White loves checking down to his running backs, and Buffalo has allowed 10 receptions to D'Andre Swift and Rhamondre Stevenson in the past two games. The Bills also have allowed a running back to score at least 12 PPR points in five of the past six games, including Carter and James Robinson each scoring 13 PPR points against Buffalo in Week 9. Even though Carter could return in Week 14, Knight is still worth using as a No. 2 running back in all leagues.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Contrarian DFS Play

Knight does have a terrible matchup against the Bills, but Mike White's propensity to dump balls off to backs should keep his value afloat even if his 5.5 yards per carry comes crashing back to earth. Expect a minimum of four catches in this game from the Jets' new feature back.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Tops 100 scrimmage yards again

Knight rushed 15 times for 90 yards and caught all five of his targets for 28 yards in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Vikings. Knight got the start at running back and finished with 20 touches while James Robinson and Ty Johnson combined for 11 with Michael Carter (ankle) unavailable. After being bottled up for most of the game, Knight ripped off a 48-yard run down the sideline in the fourth quarter, accounting for the majority of his rushing yards. Carter has a low ankle sprain, so a Week 14 return against Buffalo is possible for the shifty second-year back; however, Knight's powerful running style should allow him to maintain a prominent role on early downs, as the undrafted rookie out of NC State has exceeded 100 scrimmage yards in each of his first two NFL appearances.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Sleeper RBs

Michael Carter (ankle) is doubtful for Week 13 at Minnesota, which means we should see the Jets lean on Knight for a big workload. That means Knight could have the potential to be a No. 2 Fantasy running back in all leagues. Carter was hurt in Week 12 against Chicago, and Knight stepped up with 14 carries for 69 yards, along with three catches for 34 yards on three targets. He played in tandem with Ty Johnson, who also had a productive game against the Bears with five carries for 62 yards and a touchdown, along with one catch for 16 yards on two targets. But Knight has the potential to be the lead running back and also catch passes from Mike White, and the Vikings have allowed four running backs to score at least 17 PPR points in their past three games. I'm excited to see what Knight can do for an encore with Carter out. And Johnson can even be used as a flex option in deeper leagues.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Increased workload on tap

Knight could again play a large role out of the Jets backfield Sunday at Minnesota with Michael Carter (ankle) listed as doubtful for that contest, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports. Carter departed the Jets' Week 12 win against the Bears early with what eventually was termed a low-ankle sprain, giving Knight and Ty Johnson elevated opportunities to produce. And both players did just that, as Knight turned a 48 percent snap share into 17 touches for 103 yards from scrimmage while Johnson had six touches for 78 total yards and a rushing TD on 24 percent of plays. Considering the Vikings boast the 14th-ranked run defense at 114.6 yards per game, both Knight and Johnson should have at least another week of useful performances as long as Carter is sidelined.

  • Jets' Zonovan Knight: Week 13 Adds (RB Preview)

Knight is ahead of Benny Snell, because unlike Snell, there's at least a small chance Knight could win a relevant role rest of season. In his first action of the season, he was clearly the most effective Jets running back both on the ground and through the air.
