Jamerson was restored to the Giants' practice squad from the COVID-19 list Saturday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Jamerson spent eight days on the COVID list before being able to return. The 2018 fifth-round selection will now be able to return to practice and try to earn a shot at the Giants' active roster before the 2021 season comes to a close.

The Panthers waived Jamerson (undisclosed) on Friday, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Jamerson has a failed physical designation on the transaction wire and has officially been cut from the team. While the cornerback didn't post any tackles in the 2020 campaign, he's recorded 10 total throughout his four NFL seasons. The Wisconsin product will likely aim to play a role on special teams elsewhere.

Jamerson (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game versus the Jaguars, Brendan Marks of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Jamerson's absence will leave a void on special teams. He'll look to get healthy before Week 6's game versus the Buccaneers.
