Player Outlook
Bass should once again be considered one of the best Fantasy kickers this season, and he's worth drafting with a last-round pick in all leagues. For three seasons in a row, Bass has averaged at least 8.2 Fantasy points per game and made at least 27 field goals and 48 PATs. He also has eight field goals of at least 50 yards over that span. The Bills offense is among the best in the NFL, and Bass should continue to get plenty of scoring chances. He should be one of the first Fantasy kickers drafted in all formats.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Plays role in offensive outburst

Bass made all three of his field-goal attempts and was 4-for-4 on extra points in Sunday's 37-3 win over the Commanders Bass has 31 points already on the season, currently tied for third in the league among kickers. He's also been even more accurate than usual, going 7-for-7 on field goals -- including two from 50-plus -- while knocking in all 10 of his extra-point attempts. Bass was a top-five fantasy kicker to begin the season, and while that's proven true so far, he could receive a further boost knowing that quarterback Josh Allen has been tasked with keeping things closer to the vest following a turnover-laced performance vs. the Jets in Week 1.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Double figures to start

Bass made all three of his field-goal attempts as well as his only extra-point try in Monday night's 22-16 overtime loss to the Jets. Bass converted from 40, 34 and 50 yards on his field goals. Only five kickers scored more total points than his 10 in Week 1, making for a promising start to the season individually.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Misses one kick in preseason finale

Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and hit all three of his extra-point tries in Saturday's preseason win over Chicago. Unless Steve Christie or Nick Mike-Mayer retired in Western New York, we don't believe there's another kicker with professional experience within a 100 miles of Buffalo, so Bass is as safe a roster lock as it is heading into a challenging Week 1 matchup against the Jets. Although the Bills have a tough schedule, they also offer a top offense and a kicker that's been one of the league's most reliable in his three NFL seasons, averaging 8.4 fantasy points or more per game each season. Bass should be one of the first five kickers off the board in almost any format.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Whiffs on extra point

Bass made his only field-goal attempt -- a 40-yarder -- and was 2-of-3 on extra-point attempts in Saturday's preseason win over the Colts. The extra-point miss was a rarity for Bass, who's hit 99 of them on 101 attempts over the last two regular seasons, so we'll chalk it up as an anomaly. He has no competition ahead of the season and is locked into the starting kicker role for his fourth NFL campaign. Bass has reportedly looked great in training camp as well. The weather is always a concern during fantasy playoff weeks, but Bass has proven himself to be quite reliable and plays in an offense that is typically in the league's top group. He should be one of the first five kickers off the board in almost any format.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Signs four-year extension

Bass signed a four-year extension worth up to $21 million Thursday, Peter Schrager of FoxSports.com reports. Bass has spent the first three years of his professional career in Buffalo. He has emerged as one of the league's most accurate kickers in that span, making 88 and 87 percent of his kicks in the last two seasons, respectively. Under the terms of his extension, which keeps with the Bills through the 2027 season, the 26-year-old has been rewarded with at least $12.3 million in guaranteed money.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Perfect in imperfect conditions

Bass made his only field-goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries during Saturday night's 32-29 win over the Dolphins. Bass was locked out of field-goal tries until the very end, when he put one through the uprights during snowfall on the last play of the game to send the Bills to the playoffs for the fourth straight season. While the six-point outing isn't great for the top end of fantasy kickers, Bass managers also have to take some comfort in that the game wasn't a total wash for kickers, as most of the snow held off until the later stages of the game. Bass leads the NFL in scoring with 121 points, three ahead of New England's Nick Folk.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Another clean game

Bass made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Jets. Bass converted from 38 and 49 yards on his field goals. With four games remaining, his 115 points leads all kickers this season.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Perfect in win

Bass made his only field-goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries in Week 13's 24-10 win over the Patriots. Bass converted from 48 yards on his lone field goal. Although his six points were below his average, Bass still ranks first among kickers league-wide with 107 total points this season.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Key role as Bills get needed win

Bass connected on both field-goal tries and two of three extra-point tries in Thursday's win over the Lions. Bass missed his first extra-point attempt on the season and it almost proved costly for the Bills in a back-and-forth contest, but he redeemed himself by hitting the game-winner -- a 45-yarder -- with just a few seconds left as the Bills survived and won their second straight. The missed XPT was the first by Bass in a regular-season game since Week 14 of 2020, quite the streak for the third-year kicker. Bass leads the NFL with 101 points.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Major role in challenging week

Bass connected on all six field-goal tries and his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's win over the Browns. The game was moved to Detroit and perfect conditions due to a snowstorm in Buffalo, and perhaps nobody benefited more than the third-year kicker, as we have to imagine it would have been tough to make six field goals in a game that would have been greatly affected by weather. We also have to imagine the 19 points won a number of fantasy games in Week 11, as Bass actually out-pointed superstar teammate Josh Allen for the week. Bass's big outing has vaulted him all the way to the top of the list among all kickers with 93 points.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Notches nine points

Bass made both of his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday night's 27-17 win over the Packers. Bass converted field goals from 42 and 38 yards. His nine points marked his third most in a game this season, with his overall tally of 57 putting him just outside the top 10 for kickers league-wide.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Has kick blocked

Bass missed one of two field-goal attempts but made all five of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 38-3 win over the Steelers. Bass had a 49-yard field goal blocked in the first quarter, but he rallied to convert from 35 yards on the next drive. With Buffalo's offense having another big day, he got a handful more PATs to his name, bringing his season tally to 42 points, which ranks third among kickers league-wide.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Hits walk-off kick in Week 4 win

Bass made all three of his field-goal tries -- including the game-winner as time expired -- in Sunday's win over the Ravens. He also made both extra-point tries. The capable Bass has only missed one kick all season, with a 7-for-8 performance on field goals while making all 13 of his extra-point tries. In fact, Bass is perfect on 64 extra-point tries over the last two seasons and hasn't missed one since Week 14 of 2020. Bass is currently tied for fifth in the league with 34 points, as he continues to be a reliable fantasy kicker.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Misses first kick of season

Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and made both of his extra-point kicks in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. The miss was Bass's first of any type on the season, but it was a costly one as the Bills lost by two points. Bass is now 4-of-5 on field-goal tries while hitting all 11 of his extra-point attempts on the campaign. He remains one of the elite kickers in fantasy, though it's worth noting the high-powered Buffalo offense did suffer a series of injuries in the loss.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Impressive 11 points on MNF

Bass made both of his field-goal tries and all five extra-point attempts during Monday's 41-7 win over the Titans. Through two weeks, Bass has posted 18 points, good for a tie for fifth among kickers. Given that he's in a high-powered offense, there's little reason Bass shouldn't be a top-10 guy all season, which is exactly where he was drafted in fantasy leagues. Bass has made all 12 of his kicks this season, which consists of three field goals and nine extra points. He and the Bills get the Dolphins in Miami this week in what could be a high-scoring contest.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Big numbers in second season

Bass finished the 2021 season with 135 points, converting on 28 of 32 field-goal attempts and all 51 of his extra-point tries. Missing only four of 83 kicks is pretty amazing considering the conditions Bass faces in Buffalo, and he's proven to be worth a rare draft selection as a placekicker -- he was chosen in the sixth round of the 2020 Draft. The point total landed Bass in a tie for sixth in the league, and there's little reason to suspect he won't be a top-10 guy again next season given the high-powered offense supporting him, one with an elite quarterback that isn't going anywhere for the next several seasons.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Low total in flukey game

Bass made all three of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 29-15 win over the Falcons. He did not have a field-goal attempt. The scoring got a bit crooked when the Falcons picked up a safety to open the scoring, which caused the Bills to go for two at one point when it made sense to do so. Couple that with Buffalo's red-zone success in the contest and Bass was used only slightly more than punter Matt Haack, who somehow hasn't had a single punt in the last two games. Bass, who sits in a tie for seventh in kicker scoring following Week 17, gets a great matchup to finish the regular season, with the Bills hosting the Jets on Sunday afternoon.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Chips in during major win

Bass put up nine points in Sunday's 33-21 victory over the Patriots, converting both field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts. Bass and the Bills got some revenge on their division rival from what was an awful performance in a humbling loss three weeks ago. Bass has been perfect since that game, making all five field-goal tries and all 10 extra-point attempts over the last three games. The second-year kicker is now up to 123 points on the season, good for fourth in the league. Barring a winter snowstorm, he'll get two nice opportunities to add to that total with juicy home matchups against the Falcons and Jets to finish the regular season.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Posts seven in easy win

Bass made his only field-goal try and all four extra-point attempts in Sunday's 31-14 win over the Panthers. Bass's accuracy has been fantastic just about all season, as he's made 24 of 28 field-goal attempts and is perfect on 42 extra points. Wise fantasy managers have used Bass to ride the coattails of a strong Buffalo offense the past two seasons. If that's helped result in a deep playoff run into Week 16, the bummer is it's a road trip to New England this week. If you can get past that awful matchup, the Bills get a nice finish to the season with home games against the Falcons and Jets.

  • Bills' Tyler Bass: Costly miss in divisional loss

Bass was 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try in Monday's 14-10 loss to the Patriots. The fourth-quarter miss -- while understandable given the outrageous winds -- really hurt the Bills, as on their next (and final) drive they were well into New England territory but now needed a touchdown to win instead of a field goal, had Bass converted on the previous drive. The four-point output represents Bass's second-lowest game of the season, while his 98 points on the campaign sits tied for fifth among kickers. He'll get a better opportunity to score more and not have winds blowing the ball all over the stadium when the Bills meet the defending champion Buccaneers in Week 14.
