  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Option not picked up by Minnesota

The Vikings have declined Reagor's fifth-year option for 2024, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. This was a no-brainer for GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. Famously picked one spot ahead of Justin Jefferson at 21st overall by the Eagles in 2020, Reagor has been a major bust and is now teammates with Jefferson in Minnesota. In his first season with the Vikings last year, Reagor turned 13 targets into eight catches for 104 yards and one touchdown while serving as a return man. He won't be guaranteed a roster spot headed into 2023.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Two receptions Sunday

Reagor caught both targets for 17 yards during Sunday's 29-13 victory over Chicago. Reagor played a season-high 16 snaps on offense as starters were rested in the second half. He'll likely be limited to just his punt-return role in the playoffs.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: No catches on two targets

Reagor didn't have a reception on two targets and had one carry for a five-yard loss in Saturday's overtime win over Indianapolis. He had three punt returns for 13 yards. Both of Reagor's targets turned into interceptions as he may have run routes incorrectly that led to turnovers. He's mostly been used on gadget plays when on offense, so Saturday's performance in the passing game may not bode well for more playing time if injuries strike the receiving corps. Reagor is still the team's primary punt returner.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Two touches in Sunday's win

Reagor had one reception for 38 yards on his lone target and one carry for eight yards in Sunday's win over the Jets. Reagor played just two snaps on offense as he continues to get some playing time on offense but mostly just for gadget plays. Reagor does have a reception in each of his last three games, but has just three targets and has played just 16 snaps on offense over that span. He continues to primarily work as Minnesota's punt returner.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Catches first TD with Vikings

Reagor had a one-yard touchdown reception on his only target in Sunday's win over Chicago. Reagor played just three snaps on offense, so don't read too much into his touchdown on a shovel pass. He looks set to have a limited role on offense, including some gadget plays, unless another receiver gets hurt. He's primarily working as a punt returner.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Just one reception

Reagor had one reception for two yards on his lone target in Sunday's win over Detroit. He also returned two punts for an average of 10 yards. Reagor played just one snap on offense Sunday, so his role didn't grow after playing a surprise 10 snaps on offense Week 2. He's primarily working as a punt returner.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Plays 10 snaps on offense

Reagor had one reception for seven yards on two targets and one rushing attempt for 17 yards in Monday's loss at Philadelphia. He also returned two punts for an average of 2.5 yards. Reagor played 10 snaps on offense after playing just special teams in the season opener. He's the Vikings' fourth wide receiver, so he's not likely to get much more of a workload without another wideout getting hurt. However, his usage shows the coaching staff may have more of a role in the offense in mind than first thought after his trade from the Eagles late in the preseason.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Works just as punt returner

Reagor returned one punt for seven yards in Sunday's win over Green Bay. He played all of his four snaps on special teams. Reagor didn't play on offense, as he's serving just as Minnesota's punt returner after his preseason trade from Philadelphia. He may not factor in the passing game unless on the team's top three receivers gets hurt.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Ready for Week 1

Reagor has adjusted quickly to the Vikings' scheme and is in a position to receive snaps Sunday against the Packers, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports. Reagor, who was traded from Philadelphia to Minnesota at the end of August, feels comfortable enough with the Vikings' offensive system, in which he'll have a chance to receive WR snaps Sunday against the Packers. He's listed as the team's No. 4 wide receiver behind Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen and K.J. Osborn, and the 2020 first-round pick is in line to serve as the team's starting punt returner Week 1.

  • Vikings' Jalen Reagor: Traded to Minnesota

The Eagles traded Reagor to the Vikings on Wednesday in exchange for a 2023 seventh-round pick and a 2024 fourth- or fifth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Schefter reports that the 2024 draft pick "de-escalates" to a fifth rounder if Reagor doesn't meet certain statistical markers. He'll likely start off as a depth receiver and return man in Minnesota, where the top portion of the depth chart is in good hands with Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen and K.J. Osborn. Minnesota is nonetheless a decent landing spot for the disappointing 2020 first-round pick, especially after the Vikings waived Ihmir Smith-Marsette on Wednesday. Eagles fans won't soon forget that Reagor was drafted one pick before Jefferson in 2020.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Suits up for preseason finale

Reagor played but not did not record any stats in Saturday's 48-10 preseason loss to Miami. Reagor wasn't a heavy part of the game plan in Philadelphia's preseason finale, but the fact that he suited up at all is concerning. While it wasn't a big surprise that none of DeVonta Smith, A.J. Brown or Quez Watkins didn't suit up, Zach Pascal was also rested for the game. Reagor may survive final roster cuts to remain in Philadelphia, but he doesn't appear poised for a big role to begin the regular season.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Hauls in two passes

Reagor caught two of four targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 21-20 preseason win over the Browns. Reagor made both of his catches in the first half while playing with quarterback Gardner Minshew, who started with Jalen Hurts sitting out. Heading into his third season, the much-maligned Reagor is expected to compete most with Quez Watkins and Zach Pascal for targets behind starters A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Works with second team

Reagor recorded three receptions on four targets for 26 yards in Friday's 24-21 preseason loss to the Jets. Reagor played with the second-team offense and caught passes from Gardner Minshew rather than Jalen Hurts. Nevertheless, he put in a solid performance -- highlighted by a 17-yard catch -- and also served as Philadelphia's top punt returner. Due to the acquisition of A.J. Brown, Reagor is fighting for a roster spot this preseason, but this performance should help him in that effort.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Making case for roster spot

Reagor had a strong showing in the Eagles' first full padded practice Tuesday as he fights for a roster spot, Glenn Erby of USA Today reports. The 2020 first-round pick has been reduced to a fight for a roster spot rather than a starting role after a pair of disappointing seasons to start his career. A trade and a fresh start elsewhere likely provides his best path to fantasy relevance, but if that doesn't occur, he's at least making a good case to serve as the Eagles' fourth or fifth wideout. He caught a long touchdown pass in practice Tuesday between a pair of defenders, but he'll have to keep practicing at a high level to earn a job.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Working with second team

Reagor is working with the second-team offense in camp, Bo Wulf of The Athletic Philadelphia reports. Reagor was selected in the first round of the 2020 draft but failed to impress in his first two professional seasons, averaging 32 catches for 347.5 yards and 1.5 touchdowns. He'll have a tough time matching even that modest level of production this season thanks to the Eagles' acquisition of A.J. Brown, which pushed Reagor further down the depth chart. His best shot at fantasy relevance this season likely requires a trade to a new team willing to give him a fresh start.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Becomes trade candidate

Jalen Reagor slipped further down the depth chart and is a candidate to be traded after the acquisition of A.J. Brown, Zach Berman of the Athletic reports. Eagles GM Howie Roseman stated after the Brown trade that the team still plans to have Reagor on the roster, but the 2020 first-round pick is now fifth at best on the depth chart with Quez Watkins and Zach Pascal having surpassed him. Greg Ward has been more productive in recent years and is also still on the team. Reagor himself seemed frustrated by news of the deal and erased all mentions of the club on his social media soon after. It may be best for all parties if the 23-year-old got a fresh start elsewhere.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Minimal work against Buccaneers

Reagor caught one of three targets for two yards in Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Buccaneers. Reagor had at least five targets in four of the first five games of the regular season, but his workload diminished later in the year. He topped five targets just once in the final 12 contests during the regular season and caught just 33 of 57 targets for 299 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 10 times for 32 yards across 17 appearances. The 23-year-old was Philadelphia's first-round pick during the 2020 NFL Draft, but he's failed to carve out much of a role across his first two professional seasons.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Totals 29 yards in loss

Reagor caught two of his three targets for 19 yards and rushed three times for 10 yards in Saturday's 51-26 loss to Dallas. It was an underwhelming end to an underwhelming regular season for Reagor. He led all Philadelphia pass catchers in snaps with 69 but still failed to produce. The 2020 first-round pick finishes the regular season with 33 catches on 57 targets for 299 yards and two touchdowns. That's 97 yards fewer than his rookie season despite playing six more games.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Tallies negative yardage in win

Reagor failed to catch his only target and lost three yards on his one carry in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Football Team. Reagor got his carry on the Eagles' first drive and then disappeared from the offense until the end of the third quarter. It's been a hugely disappointing campaign so far for the 2020 first-round pick. Perhaps he'll have a third-year wide-receiver breakout come next season.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Just 15 yards in victory

Reagor caught two of his four targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Giants. Reagor was coming off a career-high 57 yards in his previous outing and looked like he might see one of his higher target totals of the season in this one, but Jalen Hurts didn't throw him the ball at all in the second half. The 2020 first-round pick remains at best the third option in the passing game for a run-heavy team.
