  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Buffalo's leading receiver in loss

Kincaid caught all five of his targets for 45 yards in Buffalo's 27-24 divisional-round loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. The stat line explains more than just Kincaid having another strong game in what's been a fantastic rookie season, as the fact that his 45 yards led the team shows just how much the Bills couldn't get Stefon Diggs going in such a crucial game, or that Josh Allen has to play Superman with his legs for the team to keep up with elite opponents. As for Kincaid, his 73 receptions in the regular season were the fourth most in NFL history by a rookie tight end, and he's already passed teammate Dawson Knox as the No. 1 tight end in the passing game. The future is bright for Kincaid, who posted a 73-673-2 line in 16 regular-season games, especially considering he'll have an elite quarterback throwing him the ball for perhaps the next several years.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Shines in postseason debut

Kincaid caught three of six targets for 59 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 31-17 playoff win over the Steelers. Kincaid and Stefon Diggs (nine targets) were the focal points of the Buffalo passing game, though Kincaid's tight end teammate Dawson Knox did catch a touchdown pass while seeing only two targets. Even with Knox healthy again, Kincaid remains the top receiving tight end in this offense, seeing six or greater targets in each of the past three games while combining for 14 catches for 230 yards during that span.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Sit Him (Lineup Decisions)

Dalton Kincaid's Week 15 donut isn't about wearing the wrong gloves or him fading out of the offense -- he simply wasn't needed as the game unfolded and the Bills overpowered the Cowboys with the run game. He played a sizable chunk of the first three quarters (57%), though it was less than normal for him before he basically sat out the fourth. Problem is, it's tough to envision Easton Stick's offense matching the Bills on the scoreboard, so what's stopping the Bills from having a similar type of game script this week at the Chargers, especially if the Bolts run defense can't rebound? And while the Chargers allow a 76% catch rate to all tight ends, they've allowed just five to score while giving up a near-league average 10.6 yards per catch. The workload makes me nervous to trust Kincaid, especially since his past three games with five or more catches resulted in 10, 8 and 7 full-PPR points. I'd rather roll the dice on Isaiah Likely, Darren Waller, Kyle Pitts and Gerald Everett, all of whom figure to be running more routes than Kincaid this week.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Limited in Wednesday's practice

Kincaid (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday. Kincaid also drew a limited tag on the Bills' estimated practice report for Tuesday, when the team held a walkthrough. His reps were capped throughout last week as well, but Kincaid entered the weekend without a designation and played 32 snaps without recording a catch in the Bills' 31-10 win over Dallas. While he's unlikely to sit out Saturday against the Chargers, Kincaid may be playing at less than full health.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Logs limited practice

Kincaid (thumb/shoulder) was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Kincaid, who also was listed as limited in Wednesday's walkthrough, sported a red non-contact jersey during Thursday's session, per Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News. With that in mind, Kincaid presumably will need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Cowboys. If Kincaid is limited or out this weekend, Dawson Knox would be next up for the Bills' TE snaps.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Start Him in PPR (Lineup Decisions)

A couple of bad yardage weeks isn't enough to completely make me pass on Kincaid. I especially like that Dawson Knox's return last week did nothing to hurt Kincaid's role in the Bills offense -- he actually had a higher route participation against the Chiefs than he did in his previous game against the Eagles (when Knox was still sidelined). On paper, the matchup is tough: Dallas ranks well against allowing Fantasy points to tight ends, but they've only defended two who have gotten at least six targets. Each of the two had at least nine PPR points. Kincaid has at least six targets -- and five catches -- in each of his past seven games. I wonder if the Bills view him as a matchup beater when the Cowboys play heavy zone coverage and have him try to win on underneath routes. I still think he's worth trusting in PPR formats ahead of Dallas Goedert, Cole Kmet, Kyle Pitts and Logan Thomas.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Limited in Wednesday's walk-through

Kincaid was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's walk-through session due to shoulder and thumb injuries. Bills head coach Sean McDermott said after Sunday's win over the Chiefs that Kincaid was day-to-day after requiring X-rays on his shoulder during the contest, but the rookie tight end is also apparently carrying a thumb injury into Week 15. Kincaid will have two more opportunities to increase his activity in practice and potentially clear up any concern about his availability for Sunday's game versus Dallas.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Getting X-rays on shoulder

Kincaid (shoulder) went to the X-ray room following Sunday's 20-17 win over Kansas City, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. Kincaid was deemed probable to return in the fourth quarter, but the Bills just had to kneel the game out on their final possession. The rookie tight end finished with five catches for 21 yards on eight targets. If Kincaid's shoulder injury hampers his availability for the team's Week 15 matchup with the Cowboys, Dawson Knox would likely see additional involvement in the passing game.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Gets into end zone in loss

Kincaid brought in five of six targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 24-22 loss to the Broncos on Monday night. Kincaid set the pace for the Bills in receptions and tied for the team lead in targets while recording his second career touchdown on a 22-yard grab late in the first half. The rookie tight end has recorded at least five catches in four consecutive contests and scored in two of the last three, keeping his fantasy stock elevated heading into a Week 11 divisional battle against the Jets.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Stays hot in Week 8 win

Kincaid brought in five of seven targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 24-18 win over the Buccaneers on Thursday night. Kincaid posted a career-best 8-75 line in Week 7 against the Patriots, and he nearly eclipsed the yardage mark in particular during Thursday's second straight strong showing. The rookie also scored his first career touchdown on a 22-yard grab late in the second quarter, and he'll take a stellar 13-140 line on 15 targets over the last two games into a Week 9 road showdown against the Bengals on Sunday night, Nov. 5.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Ascends to top of depth chart

Kincaid is expected to serve as the Bills' No. 1 tight end for at least the next four games after Buffalo placed Dawson Knox (wrist) on injured reserve Thursday, Nick Wojton of USA Today reports. Knox was already in line to miss Thursday's game against the Buccaneers after he underwent surgery on his injured wrist earlier this week, but his move to IR means that he'll be forced to miss an additional three contests, at a minimum. Though Knox had started in all seven of his appearances this season and played at least 50 percent of the snaps on offense in each of those contests, Kincaid had seen a similarly sizable role due to the Bills' willingness to have the rookie first-round pick line up all over the formation. While Knox is on the mend from surgery, Kincaid could line up out wide or in the slot less frequently and instead act as a more traditional tight end, but the 24-year-old's overall involvement in the passing game should expand nonetheless as the Bills look to redistribute the four targets per game Knox had been averaging on the season.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Start Him (Lineup Decisions)

The Buccaneers play more than a decent amount of zone coverage and like to blitz the quarterback, a combination that should help Kincaid continue to get fed short-area targets. But even with Knox gone, Kincaid feels a little unlikely to score because of how the Bucs have done this year against tight ends. That doesn't mean he can do some damage on six or seven targets, a bankable number if only because Knox is sidelined. Kincaid's worth starting as a low-end TE over pretty much anyone you've plucked off waivers this year, including Dalton Schultz in half and full PPR leagues.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Week 8 Streamers (TE Preview)

Kincaid has elite pedigree and just set a career-high in targets (8), catches (8), and receiving yards (75). He would have been an add even if Dawson Knox wasn't hurt. With Knox sidelined there is legitimate top-five upside.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Week 8 Waiver Priority List

Kincaid picked a great time to have his best game of the season in Week 7 at New England. He had eight catches for 75 yards on eight targets against the Patriots, and then we found out Monday that Dawson Knox (wrist) needs surgery and is out indefinitely. That makes Kincaid a must-add and must-start player moving forward in all leagues, and he's worth at least 15 percent of your FAB. We've been waiting all season for Kincaid to have a game like he did against the Patriots, and now he should continue to get featured in Buffalo's offense with Knox out.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Gets Week 6 questionable tag

Kincaid (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants. Buffalo's top two tight ends will take questionable tags into Sunday, as both Kincaid and Dawson Knox (wrist) weren't able to advance beyond limited participation in practice this week. While Knox could still play despite not practicing fully, Kincaid will need clearance from an independent neurologist ahead of Sunday's contest in order to exit concussion protocol and receive the green light to suit up. Beyond Knox and Kincaid, the Bills have Quintin Morris as the only other tight end on the 53-man active roster, though Joel Wilson could be elevated from the practice squad if additional depth is needed at the position this week.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Still limited Thursday

Kincaid (concussion) remained a limited participant at practice Thursday, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports. Per Fitzgerald, Kincaid sported a no-contact jersey during Thursday's session. The tight end now has one more chance to upgrade to full participation in practice and gain clearance from an independent neurologist ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Kincaid (concussion) was listed as a limited practice participant during Wednesday's walk-through session. Fellow tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) was also limited Wednesday, making the statuses of both players worth monitoring as Sunday's game against the Giants approaches. Prior to exiting the Bills' Week 5 loss to the Jaguars, Kincaid logged 32 snaps and caught both of his targets for 19 yards.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Placed in concussion protocol

Kincaid was placed in the league's concussion protocol Monday, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 Buffalo reports. Kincaid was evaluated for a head injury in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars, but he was eventually cleared to return and finished with two catches for 19 yards on two targets. Buffalo hosts the Giants this upcoming Sunday night. With Dawson Knox also battling a wrist injury, the Bills could be down to Quintin Morris at tight end. Joel Wilson is on the practice squad.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Catches two passes in win

Kincaid secured both of his targets for three yards in Sunday's 37-3 win over the Commanders. Kincaid played 35 of the Bills' 68 offensive snaps Sunday, while veteran tight end Dawson Knox handled 41 snaps. The rookie's two targets were his fewest in a contest so far in his young career, and he has yet to find the end zone through three games. With that said, Kincaid has shown chemistry with Josh Allen, which should continue to grow. In addition, Buffalo's use of 12-personnel on offense is affording the 23-year-old the opportunity to line up as a wide receiver at times while Knox handles in-line tight end duties. Kincaid will look to bounce back in what could be a shootout between the Bills and Dolphins in Week 4.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

I'm expecting big things from Kincaid this season, but I don't want to start him in Week 1 if I can avoid it. The Jets defense is tough, and while they struggled with tight ends last year, finishing as one of six teams with at least 1,000 receiving yards allowed to the position, they should be able to contain Kincaid in his first NFL action. For this week, if you can, it makes sense to roster two tight ends (Juwan Johnson, Jake Ferguson or Gerald Everett) to keep Kincaid on your bench.
